DH was in the mood to cook us dinner, so we had crepes and berries with whipping cream..the gesture was very kind, but I can't say I like "dessert" for supper

I cooked the turkey for xmas day today as I will be so busy on xmas day so I made turkey sandwiches for supper which were so moist and tasty.I put the turkey in a brine of salt, water to cover and some mollasses for about 12 hours before I cooked it.I saw this recipe on Michael Smith on the cooking channel,he used honey instead of mollasses and the turkey is so tasty this way.I dont stuff the turkey ever but just make it separate on xmas day.Merry Xmas everyone!
Be a little kinder than necessary, remember everyone is fighting their own battles.

It was DH's birthday and he wanted M&M's supreme lasagna
Saved me having to cook a meal....oh and he picked it up because he was working closest to the store - he also thought that he needed a birthday cheesecake :D

Tonight before going to a party: cooked chicken from walmart on pita with tomatoes, shredded lettuce and dressing with potato salad. All kinds of appetizers and snacks at cousins place later. Im bringing smoked salmon on blinis (tiny pancakes), topped with creme fresh, with lemon, dill and capers.
Merry christmas.

I'm going to eat some sort of a salad because I feel like I'm gaining 100 pounds this week LOL
And I'm going out for a MAJOR christmas buffet tomorrow.

Spaghetti with tomato sauce, olives, green salad with honey mustard dressing, pineapple for desert. I really overdid it last week so I'm being good until THE BIG DAY.
