I was having a bad day so I decided to treat myself to one of my favourite homemade pizzas. I carefully made the dough by hand, let it rise all afternoon. Made my pizza and then burnt it....GRRRRRRRRRRRR. It just added to the crap day I was having. I still ate it but it did not comfort me

I made something DH has been bugging me to make forever!
Mac & Cheese with hotdog weinies cooked and cut up in it. Great for the pocket book cause the Mac cost me 19c per box(sale a while ago) and the weinies were 2/$9 and I only used half a pack tonight.
At least DH was happy and he has lunch for tomorow

harbie, interesting isn't it, how sometimes the simplest things are just the best! My son will request weenies and beans casserole often!
Plan for supper tonight is cornflake coated porkchops, gnocci and salad. Mind you, it's going to be a hot day, and it depends how hot the kitchen is - and I am - by suppertime to see if I really feel like frying anything! Otherwise, I'll just throw pork and veggies in a roaster, shove it in the oven, and stay out of the kitchen for an hour or so!

Tonight is roast beast sandwiches on garlic bread with horseradish and fried onions, and au jus for dipping...and sweet potato fries on the side (with garlic mayo). Quite possibly my favourite meal!
