We ended up going to Wimpy's for dinner, mom texted me she wanted to go out to eat so we went and had dinner and did some grocery shopping since I did not leave the house all weekend (It was wonderful). So tonight's dinner was a burger, fries and gravy. Also some cinnamon buns when I got home left over from my weekend baking.

Made a Southwestern style meat loaf tonight by adding a chopped jalapeno, shredded cheddar, and cumin to the mix. Forgot to add the onions! Was good with a bit of hot sauce added. Also had some mashed turnip with it.

Thank you! I actually am not a big fan of most of that veg, it's 'imperial blend' and 'zen garden' from shoppers when they were on sale if you buy 2 a while back, and I think I was trying to get to $50 for the points, haha. The boring old carrots peas corn and green beans was my favorite part of that veg for the most part. But you can never go wrong with steak and potato.. that's actually balkan style yogurt on my potato, not sour cream

Tuesday nights dinner consisted of chicken masala with tons of cremini mushrooms piled on top, I served it with a baked potato loaded with greek yogurt and chives and steamed broccoli. No leftovers
Tonight I'm going to make some Korean bbq'd pork chops and do a tinfoil pouch of potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, onions and green beans that I can just throw on the bbq with the chops. It's suppose to be a scorcher here again today so I'm keeping all the cooking outside today. Dh also loves when I bbq because it's less dishes for him to do!
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

There is a bug going through our house right now, so none of us have slept that well. dh stayed up unti 4:00am last night because he kept getting LO back to sleep for me. Poor guy had to work this morning too, but it currently seems like I am the most sick out of the bunch and really needed the rest. Our 5 1/2month old baby is quite active and keeps me going all day.
I have a farm raised roast chicken in the fridge that I am planning on stripping today. Going to make a chicken and veggie dish that I will serve with no yolk noodles.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money
