Tonight I made a greek style flat bread pizza using the leftover taziki, chicken souvlaki, lemon taters and feta
I warmed and crisped it up on the bbq. It was really good!
oh ya, and for dessert I made a lemon cream tart with blueberries and raspberries. I'm experimenting for the dessert I am bring to a friends for dinner on Saturday

pho soup! pho soup! pho soup!
Man, that was some tasty stuff DH made today! The kids didn't care for it much. But I remember reading once that you have to try a food like 10 times before you will like it...so, 1 down, 9 to go.
As for other posters making their own hummus: it is totally easy and cheap to make at home; in fact, Food basics has canned chickpeas on this week for .75 cents a can!
DO have a food processor though. Last time I made it, we only had a hand blender (which, incidentally, I killed that night making the hummus. LOL) and after the hand blender was pooched I had to do it old school ---crush them chickpeas with a masher. OMG. The horror of it all! So please make sure you have a blender that can blend those little buggers up without losing your mind!
And yeah-- you can skip the tahini too. I left it out in mine and it tasted fine!"Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

Bought 3.5 pounds of lean ground beef for $8 two weeks ago. Made a cookie Sheet (packed!) of meatballs for a family potluck and got sick of rolling so I made 5 burgers with the remaining mixture and threw them in the freezer.
Taking a few of those out today, and the DFiancé will BBQ them. I will make some boring salads. Blah boring veggies.
