last night we went out to 'moose winooskies' for dd1's 5th birthday. I had the Asian noodle bowl, dh had full rack ribs and baked potato, dd1 had pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad, dd2 had noodles and Caesar salad. bonus, found out kids eat free on Wednesdays. tonight is turkey tacos with fresh tomatoes and green peppers from the garden. going to the public pool after, maybe stop at DQ for a blizzard yumyum

I purchased today the deal at IGA posted from couponmummy in the brag section 2 large fresh pizzas for 12$...1 greek and 1 vegetarian,lots of stuff,unfortunnatly I was not able to get a 50% on top of that it dépends of the day but yum,it will be awesome And I will have leftover for tomorrow lunch:

Pork chops in the crock pot, with equal amounts of ketchup, soy sauce and brown sugar, a few spoonfuls of minced garlic and some ginger powder. Served over rice, DS's favourite.

Tonight was almost all in a roaster meal - whole chicken, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and about 20 cloves of garlic which made it all yummilicious, along with coleslaw.

Last night was pizza, mom threw a hot flash and when I mentioned cooking I got a look that said turn on the stove and it won't be pretty so we ordered in.

I will be happy when this hot weather is behind us, not having AC on the main floor really sucks and makes it impossible to cook some nights.

Its a really miserable weather day but its the long weekend!! So I am already boiling out a ham to put in the oven and glaze; and then I am going to make a bunch of salads to go with it.

I would be lost without my crockpot! I use it all the time. I even have different sizes, one for large meals/roasts, a second one for smaller meals/roasts & sauces (as they dry out more in the large one) and a small one for dips.

I have been contemplating getting a crock pot for ages (just wasn't sure I'd use it much or have the space for it) but after reading all your yummy dinners I think I will have to. Amazon codes from Swagbucks here I come !!

My mom is visiting - she is watching our fur baby while we go away to NYC next week. So were going out to try the new restaurant in town Scaddabush! We will start with there polenta fries and there fresh made daily in house mozzarella balls and crispy bread! Then whatever else tickles our fancies haha

Went to Barque Smokehouse for dinner and had the sampler which had beef and pork ribs, chicken thigh, fries, salad and smoked asparagus. Was delicious.

I have to go into work tonight for a few hours so dh is in charge - probably just hamburgers/hot dogs on the bbq.

It's date night so my honey is whipping up something special. I know it's pasta but he said it's going to be something "new" Can't wait!
