    Natalka, sounds delicious.

Dinner will probably be chicken finger fajitas.

^ It turned out really good, tastes great! I don't think I'll thicken it, I'll leave it as is. I'll definitely use black beans again (I used Unico if that matters), they taste good and softened nicely.

I cooked a ham last night, so ham, leftover mashed potato and zucchini noodles (DS insists he does not like the zucchini, but I wonder if I can trick him into thinking it's pasta if I peel it first and put it in lots of sauce!).

Everyone was kind of out of sorts tonight, so wasn't a great mealtime.

I have been contemplating getting a crock pot for ages (just wasn't sure I'd use it much or have the space for it) but after reading all your yummy dinners I think I will have to. Amazon codes from Swagbucks here I come !!

I delayed getting one for a really long time, too, then when I did get it (from amazon with survey money, too!) I didn't use it for a whole year, gah!
I've enjoyed using it and trying out new things - especially during this very hot weather!

Last night, husband was at a bbq after a work golf tourney, so son and I had A&W, yay for coupons! Had teens, fries, onion rings, and rootbeer!

I have three! LOL. One is fairly small and round, but can cook the meat for a family meal, or is good for a dip at a potluck. The other two are larger and can accommodate a roast, a big pot of chili, etc. I mixed up the ingredients for pork in the crockpot this morning, DH will put it in later this morning. Nothing like coming home to the smell of supper already cooked!

Tonight will be grilled pork chops with baked potato, corn on the cob and a mixed green salad. A few nights ago i roasted a chicken and we had 4 meals out of it. Mind you, its only me and hubby but it stretched good. First night was the roast chicken; second night was hot chicken sandwiches with fries and peas; third night was club sandwiches; and then i made chicken soup and stock with the left over bones and meat. I froze the chicken soup and some stock for future use.
