I found them at Foodland, they weren't a specific brand, they were on a styrofoam tray, wrapped in plastic (like meat) and had the Foodland sticker with Thunder Crunch Chicken on the label 4/$10.92...they are sooooo good. My new favorite :

Maple and Chipotle salmon filet, seasoned rice, green beans and a glass of white wine. For dessert I think I'll have another glass of wine.

Indian style tacos. I made my usual butter chicken sauce. I cook the Indian cutlets I have in the freezer(they have the usual ginger, garlic, cumin, cayenne, garam masala, etc). I make a quick red onion pickle and top the soft taco with some raita and shredded lettuce. It's so amazingly yummy!

Mom is out running around and my day is spinning in circles here so something quick and easy is on the menu, sausages on a bun and either a bag of fries baked in the oven or some chips with dip on the side. Nothing to fancy tonight

Everyone's meals sound absolutely wonderful tonight, but these two have me salivating!

I made porkchops baked in tomato sauce with french onion soup mix, having with dilled rice - over which I'll put sauteed onions and mixed veggies.

Does anyone have any experience cooking with ground flax seed?? I tried as an experiment to use it in a meatloaf...2 lbs ground beef and all the other regular ingredients for a meatloaf, however, the recipe called for 1/2 cup of ground flax seed..and the meatloaf tasted HORRIBLE...really medicinal tasting (no I didn't add any of my cough syrup!! lol) Is that the normal taste baking ground flax seed or was a 1/2 cup too much???...seemed like a lot so wondering if it was a mistake..any feedback would be welcome!?!
*I had someone else try it too as I thought maybe my cold messed up my tasters but they agreed that it was yucky!!

I cook with flax seeds quite often (usually as an egg replacer). I find that golden flax seeds are milder in taste, but if your flax, regardless of colour have gone rancid, then it'll taste horrible. I store mine in the freezer to prolong their shelf life. They go bad quickly after they've been ground!
