Thread: What's For Dinner?
-

Having a casual dinner party on the deck tonight. We’re grilling lamb chops and pork chops and grilled mixed veggies. I’m making a chimichurri sauce, steamed new potatoes with dill and quinoa salad. I baked a fresh peach pie this morning, don’t think I’ll have time to make ice cream so I’ll just whip up some cream.

While I was napping... Husband prepped onions and carrots, put in a roaster with chicken thighs. He wanted me to do the seasoning, but he's making some sort of potatoes to go with.

I have decided to make both Beef Stew and Egg Roll Stir Fry for the fridge for the week, also if I can find time/energy I might also make Zucchini Lasagna Rolls. I think that is enough cooking for 1 day which means these are also the options for dinner.

Roast pork loin, I did two, different flavors. The smaller one, not for today, has a spicy garlicky sweet glaze.
The one we are having tonight has a herb garlic rub, will have it with pasta - made a mushroom onion sauce to go with.
Gosh, the kitchen smells amazing!

On my own tonight for dinner so just going to heat up leftover stew. It is supposed to be on the cooler side and rain off and on all day so Stew sounds good to me.

I have no idea. One of my volunteer jobs will keep me out from 3-9 today. I may put something in the slow cooker before I leave.

Leftover pork loin, which stays moist heated in a slow oven in its juices, tasted like I made it today. Made a big caesar salad, had skin-on crispy fries and gravy.
Son was over, he was SO happy!
