I am in freezer cleaning out mode. So last night I cooked up stuffed pasta with regular pasta. DS now has 3 containers in the fridge ready to heat and eat.
Cooked up BLSL chicken breasts x 3. 2 in the fridge for DS to make wraps. I have one in my lunch today with my salad.
That should do my kid till lunch tomorrow.

I decided tonight we need something simple as I had an appointment this afternoon and I was not sure how long it would take, plus I knew I would be away from desk and would have to work tonight to catch up. So tonight we are having:

Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, I meal prep the Pulled BBQ Chicken so it just needed to be pulled from the freezer and heated up, on side keeping it simple with Oven Fries and will also make a Caesar Salad as I am sucker for BBQ and Caesar Salad.

I should never have left making the Ham Pot Pie this late, but DS was making a huge batch of egg salad earlier and then yesterday he made ( for the first time! ) 24 Gyoza ( pork dumplings ).
They turned out so good all 24 disappeared before 5 p.m. today.

It is Friday night so we decided on Homemade Pizza with the usual suspects as toppings and I will probably make a salad to go with it.

Prepping for Saturday. I have 2 small pans of stuffed mushrooms all ready to broil/bake. Filling was 2 kinds. That spicy tuna ( chili ) that comes in the wee tins in one tray and crab meat in the other.
Both have bits of fine chopped green onions in them, all the shrooms have a piece of Gouda in the bottom, then on top of the filling it's a mix and match of pieces of Swiss and Havarti.
One hot Appy down, a few more to go, at least I got the mango salad all made up this afternoon.

DH and I won't be siting down till the first Leaf intermission, maybe later?
The menu is pan seared, slow simmered oven baked blade steaks with onions. Twice smashed baked potatoes, stuffed mushrooms and a mango salad ( slices marinated in red chili flake/fresh mint/lemon juice ).
Delighted to find one of our fav. red wines at Freshco......Henry Of Pelham Baco Noir!
Dessert is small piece of each......lemon cornmeal cake and walnut choc. torte ( both gluten free! )

you are watching the Leafs and we are watching Boston and Buffalo. Hubby is a Boston fan. Supper is a one pan dinner: sliced bacon cheddar sausages, sweet potato and regular potato, carrots, quartered onions sprinkled with cheddar and mozza cheese.
