I forgot how to post pics, oooops. Will have to follow the steps again and get a pic posted. I decided to make my granddaughters sweaters so 2 done 3 to go. I get bored of doing the same thing over and over so I take breaks to make slippers and hats.
I love the candles they are so nice, I would love to learn candle making.
What an idea SC'ers having an online store, love it.Last edited by tidytaurus; Tue, Oct 26th, 2010 at 02:06 PM. Reason: pic too huge

It's snowing - and I have a hankering for some new knitted mittens! Can't wait for the community craft sales to start in November!

I was making my cards for our exchange today, so I thought I'd post a few I've made in the past....(as I was looking for inspiration!)..
Hope you like them.....
This one I did for my brother's retirement..on the inside I wrote:
"..but we hear you've left that field behind!"
This one was for my SIL...he loves golfing and plays the guitar,
so I thought I'd mix both in...making the golf shirt was so easy and fun!
This one was for my BFF's hubby's b'day...
Two more golf-themed cards for our DD's FIL and my hubby!
I gave each one for Father's Day...
Now..enough goofing off, I must get to my Christmas exchange card!

Oh, I hear you about knitting big boring things. Would you believe that when my hubby and I were first married I knit him an entire cable fisherman knit sweater??!! I could never do that now. I knit for our grandson..hats, mitts, scarves, and I'm presently looking for a nice toque with ear flaps. If I don't find one I'll just add flaps to a pattern I usually use (but change up).
Happy knitting!
Hey...if nothing else, it keeps me from nibbling evil snacks while watching tv in the evenings!

Does anyone have a shop on Etsy? I've opened one up but am still playing around with taking better photos. No sales yet and I don't have enough stock for a craft sale but one can always dream. LOL In the meantime, it's fun and I'm making lots for my kids too.

My sister and I are going to open a shop on etsy hopefully by spring. We're trying to build up stock before opening a shop. Plus at the same time we can sell things at christmas sales and such in town.
