thanks for the rep, i use to run an in home daycare... so i know a few tricks

Hi Judstir! We would normally make 'kutia', which is the boiled wheat dish with honey and poppyseeds, but decided to not make it since there's just the three of us. It's a lot of work to make, but I'll miss it.

That sounds nice Judstir, we don't have big plans. Breakfast for our family and the hubby's Christmas Day, then to the inlaws for supper. New years eve I'm planning a dress up dinner party with all the fancy fixins, then to a friends after for beverages and singing, and countdown for the new year. We watch the Newfoundland countdown, that way the girls bring in the new year, just 2 hours early. Take care, Moe.

your welcome. I remember it took awhile before I realized our dog was gone. I kept expecting her to come walking up to me or that we had to feed her. For a bit I would even get thoughts like shoot she has to go outside to do her stuff and then correct myself that she was gone. I don't know if sharing this helps or hurts but it does get easier. I still miss her alot but I can think about the happy memories of her now. I am here if you ever need someone to chat with.
