Hiya Mmmme!!!! I work 12hr shifts. 2 on & 2 off except a weekend which is 3 on or 3 off. Took this week off to ski!!!! Great day out there today! More for tomorrow.

Funny you should say that. I've been working on something for some time, but I keep changing my mind about the format. I go back and forth between writing for adults (Chicken Soup type book) or rhyming kids book or a picture book with stories. I`m going to have to just sit down, pick a type, & finish.

That`s the problem with a bigger project - something always seems to come up to distract me. I will work, I will work, I will...ooh, pretty shiny thing!

All's well here. I spent the evening killing myself laughing cause my friend's Lab kept trying desperately to kiss Quincy, who wanted no part of her. This Lab is obsessed with licking everyone & everything in sight & Quincy is just not that type of boy.

He's now diligently licking every last bit of doggie spit off his fur (she never did get close enough to kiss him, however loud her crying got).

Thanks dear! Just got back from dinner at my daughter's. Her husband got a new BBQ with a smoker, so we've been eating like kings! My grandson had his first solid food last night, a little bit of sweet potato, what a face! Not sure if he liked it or not, at least not as much as mommy's boob! Hope you enjoyed the day as well! Life is GRAND!

funny when CP started closing all the small PO and more and more of these counters started popping up at every SDM, I wonder now if CP realizes it is losing $$ bec. of these counters being closed today so no cust mailing parcels today from there. Really determined cust. would have to find an actual CP retail counter??

Quincy's the only cat that ventures out & he likes dog biscuits.

It's funny, the neighbour dogs now drag their owners to the little table where I leave the biscuits, just in case it's a holiday.

I went to breakfast with my family to celebrate my brother in laws birthday. I had a little nap and now I am off to my husbands family's to see his cousin who is in town from Aronizia. After that I need to pick up my niece who was visiting his boyfriend in Tennesse. I am off the rest of the week from work on a vacation. I am just staying at home fixing the bathroom!

No Mmmme, SDM open, the Post office counter, big sign closed for family Day. So I'm like doesn't SDM give their other employees the day off? Why only the PO people? and especially when PO is open and mail moves ( we don't get Fam Day off)

I definitely did watch the Big American race with the TV and the laptop (listen to drivers radios and GPS animation from a particular driver in the race) This I inherited from my Dad, who took me to races every Friday (Speedway Park Hamilton or Cayuga) Saturday (Merrittville) and Sunday (Humberstone), even long past the time he should have been scaling the stands(had a degenerative disease that took the feeling in his legs).. Then once he became bedridden (not for not trying and scaring my Mom half to death) we would watch NASCAR on Sunday afternoons from his bedroom.. Keepin the spirit alive..

There is a Chalet BBQ on Sherbrooke St. west that i know of but 20 mins drive ... I am too lazy to go too far for dinner

I've got some oxycocet and Tylenol #3 in my drawer that I try not to take. But if there's someone home to take care of the kids and I can be in bed for a few hours and I need a break from the pain I'll take something. Fortunately this round of headaches was quite mild for me and this wasn't necessary.
