Good to hear Sammie's knots are disappearing a little at a time. Quincy is not quite himself yet. His fur is all greasy, I think from the anaesthetic coming out (last time I had anaesthetic my dead straight hair went frizzy). He's still not wanting to eat, altho his tummy hurts. By tonight all should be back to normal in my little household.

I work downtown TO. I can see a bit of lake Ontario between a couple of building. And I get front row seat for the Labour Day air show at Ontario Place.

yes, I enjoyed my weekend thanks. As you probably seen the concert with Goddo on Friday was great, Saturday wasn't much fun for various reasons but a beautiful day, and Sunday was nice out on a deck party on the lake down here!

I'm afraid I'm boring...
My wife has bad arthritis and is mostly confined to bed so we do Nintendo Wii and watch a lot of movies...(we're inseparable, 28 years last weekend)
We only recently stopped playing World of Warcraft...We were both in the top 5 on our server

It IS the weekend... but I won't have fun 'til tomorrow. Looks like nice weather, the pool is warm (84F), so I should enjoy it (although we have to do gardening still).

The brother in law party on Saturday was good, except for one thing: the hockey game. But that was out of our control. And then what a beautiful Sunday and even better Monday. But now it's back to work

Yes I have tried them. Didn't work. Tried different types of sleeping pills and none of them worked very well. (just made me fell hung over the next day) Also tried a variety of herbal meds with no luck. Used to work long hours and got used to not sleeping. Once worked 42.5 hours and the captain said that if we did not get some sleep they would have to send someone out to rescue us. lol

Thank you very much! You are very kind indeed! Your thoughts are appreciated. I just love having a long weekend, and having one on my birthday is especially wonderful. We have invited my youngest son over for turf & surf dinner. My son Steven loves to cook so he will be doing the bbq'ing. The rest is easy so it will be a lovely dinner. My other son, Brian, has to work but will be coming down next weekend with his lovely new bride. I get to spoil them then! All is well in my world. Again, thank you for your good thoughts!! Kids had a great time at the drive in. They grabbed pillows and blankets, put their seats down to make a bed and watch through the back of the car.

Tonight we are going to have a fire in the back yard and toast some marshmellows. Tomorrow afternoon they are heading off to their mother's house for the rest of the weekend.
