Last thing you baked?

The last thing I baked was lemon loaf. Lemon zest in the batter and lots of fresh lemon juice in the sugar glaze that you pour over the loaf while it's still warm from the oven.

Vanilla cupcakes with rainbow icing. Loads and loads of rainbow vanilla cupcakes for the last day of school.

Planning to use up my Pilsbury ready-to-bake cookies that I got from an FPC very soon--but that doesn't qualify as "real" baking in my family...so I will bake them on the sly and tell everyone they're homemade to save me the harassment.

Just yesterday I baked a fresh rhubarb pie, three miniature blueberry pies, and 12 tart shells. I even made my own crust.

I promised the other volunteers at the soup kitchen I would do some baking using recipes that use bread crumbs (ie cookies, cakes) they keep teasing me Im taking home all the stale bread to feed the birds! lol

Im in the soup kitchen on Friday, so just laying out my recipes tomorrow

I baked a batch of chewy raisin oatmeal cookies for my boyfriend yesterday.

Edit: He said to say that they were really delicious and had a hint of cinnamon in them, hehe.

Ive got a chocolate cake in the oven and I just made German cake filling. So far so good. *knocks wood*

*sigh* I wish I could bake. I mean really bake from scratch. I've tried, they turn out ok but something is always not quite right.
Tonight I will be making Pilsbury cinnamon buns, from that FPC many of us got lol
