Glad that you got the stroller back. We had our stroller stolen from our carport last year. We live near the lakeshore and there was a festival that weekend. I guess the person who stole it figured they lived far enough away that we would never find them (which was true). But who the hell steals a stroller from a little baby?

I've now got it bike-locked to the gate.
You live in Port Credit maybe?? We go there for the festivals..even now that we're back in Brampton.

I keep all my strollers inside when not in use. (I have 2 now (s graco ready 2 grow sit and stand that may have a possible brake safety issue the company doesnt seem to care/be concerned about... and a britax b ready with the 2nd seat.) but planning to get third (a good quality light weight single stroller for me to use with ds2 while ds1 is in school. still shopping around)

I would never leave a bike or a stroller outside because they are big theft targets. they are almost impossible to track down, many of them can be sold for 50+$. unfortunately the jerks who steal these things don't care if they belong to kids. I am always reading on newschaser about people having bikes, strollers, wagons, play sets (anything that isn't nailed down) stolen.

Yup! When DH gets home we'll call the real estate agent. I am really starting to hate this place for a lot of other reasons too. I think this is just the straw that breaks the camel's back

Gazebo was ripped to shreds last night. Didn't think it was especially windy... Have to buy another one. Hopefully someday we'll be able to build a permanent one.

grr stupid sunlight contest! great you sent a $25 gift card that i won... but you'd think they would send one i could use! they stupidly sent me a sobeys/IGA/foodland/Price chopper card... well half those stores are only back east and the others are not located anywhere on the island!

I planned on adopting a cat today at Petsmart. The local shelter places cats at Petland and Petsmart for adoption. I spied this cat for about a week and decided today I wanted to adopt him. I phoned Petsmart and he was taken. I'm glad he found a home but yet I was looking so forward to adopting this guy. Oh well. There are plenty of cats who need homes. I will find another.

same but my mom would just tell me that was my own fault (i was due on dec 1st but didn't arrive till the 17th) and i am always sick on my birthday.. out of the last 10yrs i've been sick for probably 8 of them (flu, lost my voice once, bad cold...)

fortunately yes! i posted on their facebook after i ranted and they replied saying yes thriftys will accept the sobeys card since Sobeys now owns thrifty foods so that is helpful

It may not be the same as my daughter but she has the same problem .. we managed to reduce it by placing wet towels over the vents when we first turn the furnace on, to capture any dust and open all the windows... we do this for the first 2 days.. just make sure you are home when you are doing it.. The other triggers we found were candy canes and oranges.. she has allergies to those apparently.. If it happens around the same time every year, its probably an allergic reaction.. is it when you decorate your tree.. or bring in a live tree.. I get really sick if I bring a real tree in at Christmas time.

Just try to see whatever pattern you are repeating every year around that time and you may be able to stop that from happening.. Sometimes its not one thing but a combination of things that overloads your system.
