did some tidying today in my bathroom to find out the tap wasn't properly sealed to the countertop, and any water that may have been splashed went down down, onto the cabinet and now it's completely rotten (and probably has mold)

i've never renovated and didn't exactly want to spend my weekend doing so, but here i am -.-

Well another parade and we are on the main drag and I don't think anything is happening for an hour and people have already got their lawn chairs set up on our lawn. He's all agitated that people will get into the garden (because sometimes people come and stand up right against the house, we're on a slope and you get a good view up here). Anyway he's gone and opened up every single blind so that he can scowl at people. Then he left the house, so it's just me in full view of the horde (well, 13 so far) out there, and let me tell ya they have nothing to look at right now. smh.

I booked an appointment for Wednesday with my new specialist 2 1/2 months ago , it requires a physical exam. Naturally, Mother Nature decides to make something appear the day before, so I can rebook that exam for God knows when... Maybe another 2 1/2 months? fml.

I received a booking for a scan a few months back. Figured it had something to do with some mystery symptoms that had appeared after an especially draining winter cold a few months back. I went it 30min before my designated time, waited some more in the waiting area as there was a backlog of patients, then went it to get the IV. After about 15min of trying to find a vein, I was deferred to another nurse (who is supposed to be better at pricking people!). At this point, I am bored and get chatty. Asked what they had on their forms as to the reason for the scan (since my form provided virtually no information) - turns out it was for something that didn't make any sense to me. Once I expressed this, we both realized something didn't seem right...
I didn't go ahead with the scan. I called the doctor who ordered the scan, looking for more information. While I never got to speak to the doctor, I did receive a voice mail from his office saying that the scan was ordered in error.
Makes me wonder if someone else was supposed to receive this scan and never did??
What if it was medication?? Scary thought...Anyway, important lesson to always be vigilant, these types of mistakes can have devastating repercussions.

went to take the bus from library...missed it! walked instead...now i have 2 blisters on toes...lol
got to walmart , did my shop, off to pick up chinese food...place is CLOSED. walk to nearest pizza joint, get pizza. Just missed the bus so wait 40 mins for next one. The entire bus shedule has changed!! wth?

went to an appt today to see an opthamoligist -well as I am waiting past an hour and 20 minutes I thought I better go ask when I may be going in cause my hubby I thought was waiting in a coffee shop for me (nope he went home)and I needed to use their phone to call him -well guess what I was overlooked -sorry she said spent 2 hours there when it may have been less -uggggg

-an apology was given and she patted my back and said so sorry -I didn't notice the time as a gentleman was not treating his elderly dad so nice I stepped in there and a woman came in so upset as she didn't have an hour to wait as she needed to get back to work -like the world revolves around her type person

SEE PEOPLE ILL TREATING THEIR CHILDREN IN PUBLIC IT MAKES ME WONDER WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE CLOSE DOORS.

I remember long ago being in Walmart at 10pm at night (alone, kids were home in bed) and this family came in shopping and the kids were crying and the parents kept yelling at them to stop. All I could think was I am sure they are exhausted and needed to be in bed and this is probably why they are crying and not on their best behaviour. Poor kids!

In the future, ask at the 15min past mark for an explanation/update so you can decide whether to stay or go. In this heat, your ride home is needed! There should have been something more offered to make up for the oversight. Give them a letter about the experience so the team knows to improve on their client service.

Stoney Creek Central schedule changed for the summer-not sure by how much. I usually carry my schedules when taking HSR for errands, so I can decide how I'll while away time or not between long bus waits. Timing is everything in the hot weather. Stonechurch bus runs hourly after 6:30pm-which seems like forever at night so I walk.
