Since Saturday feeling off - sore head sore body, Sunday felt ok, then Monday every muscle in my body hurt and today I feel like I walked 10km - lower legs are throbbing. If the flu is going to hit me why doesn;t it hit me now when I am off work. I bet when I go back to work the flu will hit me. Still hoping its the keto flu which means it will go away soon.

I've never had problems not speaking french in Qc. Especially not in a hospital setting. My local hospital went out of it's way to find staff who could communicate with us in broken but understandable English.

Even when Mr P was sedated, the staff all spoke to him in English when possible so he could understand what was happening to him.

I will rant a little..... We are super private... BUT... My husband was laid off out of the blue this week... he is the sole provider for my family... DAMNIT!

OMG I can't smell! I have a terrible cold with hurting sinuses.

As part of my birthday gift today, my husband got me two hyacinths (tradition for us) - one pink, one white - and the aroma of just one of them is enough to perfume a room - and I just ADORE the smell.
But I can't smell them - absolutely nothing, nada, zilch - how crazy is that?
And my nose isn't plugged, I can breathe through it... sorry if TMI, but this blows my mind!

This is the kids' new computer that came with it and I am not so technical that I can figure out how to install 8 on it. I'd never upgrade my own computer to 10.

I've got a program installed on both my 8.1 desktop and my 10 laptop called Start Menu 8 that makes windows act like 7 and older versions.
I'm still tempted to try Ubuntu on one of them.

no matter what you do Candini .. you'll always fine someone ...got to say something negative.. nothing wrong with kids getting pop .. everyone needs treat .. people today make people think their kids don't eat nothing unless it's all healthy foods . Happened to to me a long time ago. My sense of smell was completely gone for a few years. I do get the occasional whiff of something now and then but it's rare. At some point I will have to mention it to the doctor. I wasn't in a hurry to get it checked out because I can breathe fine and it was nice not to smell poop when changing a diaper lol.
