Sweet Sparrow - I live in a small town with very few options. I am lucky to have a doctor where we are which is why I was thinking walk-in clinic. It would be a second opinion but on that note I actually learn a lot last night talking to my step mom and sister. My sister also has issues, not the exact same as me but some of the same. We have similar symptoms and than some she does not have, I have and vice versa so my step mom has told me the tests and that my sister had to do so if this does not work it self out I have some knowledge to go to the doc and if that does not work my step mom is seeing a naturopath (sp?) so if I cannot get anywhere I will find out what it would take to see her naturopath.

If that does not work than I can move on and see about going to the private clinic my dad went too.

So I really feel like I have options now, Not to mention I have a few ideas of my own so now it is just time to make some small changes and see what happens because I know until my current infection clears my doc won't do anything.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We`re just having a regular day at home. Got a couple loads of laundry on the go. Probably would dry outside but it`s cold. My hands don`t like handling wet cold clothes so they`re going in the dryer. Hopefully I`ll get the first afghan done by tonight. My goal is 6 by the end of the month.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We got home around 6ish last night. Left a little later then we were planning and stopped at a walmart on our way. Slept in today! Was so nice. Took our coffee and the dog for a hike in the bush this morning, on my 3rd load of laundry (drying 2 loads outside right now and they are almost dry) Sheets are in the dryer now so I can make the bed quickly since we are heading out to cut the grass and tidy the garage now. Popped out to RCSS to get some fruit/stuff for the week. Bought 3 fresh turkeys for the freezer for 53 cents a LB! (the nice cleaner told us about them- went and said a big thank-you after we loaded them in our cart) What a deal! Will be great for a Sunday night dinner and leftovers for days Ok off to putter in the yard. Enjoy the rest of the day. We were watching "You gotta eat here" last night so decided to make awesome homemade burgers on the bbq tonight, I can't wait!

So basically does that thing could happen to my ground coffee too?
It sounds like you had grain weevils in your oats,or maybe pantry moths-have you ever seen little moths flying in your kitchen? They lay their eggs in dry goods like flour, oats etc. and hard little worms hatch out The way to avoid it is to freeze every thing for 2 or 3 days before putting it in your cupboards in airtight containers like jars or cookie tins. They can chew through plastic,so baggies and store packages aren't enough protection for long term storage.Complaining to the company after something has been in your house for a while is pointless,as it would be too hard to say where they came from, they are everywhere, and especially common in bulk bins at stores. We got some (the moths) in birdseed once and they were a bugger to get rid of.Be very grateful it was just your oatmeal!

I made a turkey for the first time EVER in my life. It tasted pretty good. We had carrots, potatoes, stuffing and cranberry jelly with it. Tons left over - froze one meal for next weekend. Will make turkey soup and sandwiches tomorrow.

Good job! I love making turkey. The bigger the better. I can get so much out of a turkey. I can usually get at least 6 meals out of 1 meal. This one was so big, I'll get probably 9 meals out of it. 9 meals for a $25 turkey!
