Here, by mid-afternoon, I'm doing okay. Had a nap, and with that and some Tylenol, all ills should be alleviated!

I also don't have to cook supper tonight, so that will help. It's Whopper Wednesday, so husband will bring home food on his way home from work.
(Added bonus, it 'feeds' my grease and salt craving now that my period is here - which it shouldn't be, I'm OLD!!!) LOL!

casey, glad you got a lawyer and things are in motion.
I just cannot imagine how hard it must be for you and the children, so big hugs from me!

They still have Whopper Wednesday? Our BK doesn't have any signs saying that anymore so I wondered if they stopped that.

I picked up a rotassarie chicken for me and bf last night....tonight i ate leftovers. St lunch i had leftover fried. Rice and fish sticks from sunday. I find when we dont have the boys im often eating leftovers.

Being the new person in someone s life (i met him after he asked for a divorce) in respect to the kids id say please please please dont discuss child support infront of them or other money issues. Ive often taken the boys away to a movie or even for a slurpee because bf and his ex get disagreeing.

I also know as the new person im resented because if he gadnt found me in their eyes mom n dad could get back together..

I accepted a couple more bookings to teach in November, for a grand total of 12.69 days this month out of a possible 18 days. I had to turn down 1.4 days of work this month because I had other commitments (including time with our son). I had a teacher text me yesterday requesting 6 days between now and March. I was able to accept 5 of the 6 days. I taught today and was contacted by 5 different schools, asked for 9 teaching days. I was able to book 1 of these days because I was already booked to teach all of the other days. I already have 7 days booked to teach in December and there are only 16 days available to teach that month.

I redeemed $20 in Airmiles at Sobeys for regular grocery items earlier this week.

I think I picked my new gp clinic in town. I did some research, he is new in town and his wife is a nurse who also works at the clinic part-time. She will become a nurse-practitioner next year. My vascular surgeon from London, ON replied to my e-mail earlier today, so that I can print off his requested tests and bring it to my appointment on Friday. He is requesting particular ultrasound and CT scan tests. If I am pregnant, the CT cannot be done at this time. *shrug* I'll have to talk to dh, and my gp to discuss the options. I want to see if I can book the appointment for a particular couple of days in December...that is when I will know if I am pregnant or not. It is a small window, but might be worth preparing for it...if they can fit me in at that time. I find the whole thing stressful and frustrating. Particularly because I have been getting this investigated for years and this is the first time that ANYONE has requested a CT scan. :/

edit: LO is now in bed, so I have the opportunity to do some research regarding the tests that the specialist is requesting. Both tests will have to be performed in Regina because our local hospital doesn't do them. The vascular surgeon doesn't just want a CT, he wants a CT venogram of my abdomen and pelvis. This means that it is a test with contrast dies done with an IV directly into my groin. My research says it will take 30-90min. I don't like IVs and the last time they did chest CT with contrast dies on me I reacted to the die that they used. It makes me quite anxious. There is a pretty good chance that this test will be done at the hospital the royally messed up my surgeries in 2007, which caused the long term problems with my leg and, therefore, is the source of my ongoing problems. Of course the timing of this whole thing will be based on when we conceive our next child. *sigh*

    Good Morning All,
Hope those in pain are feeling better ((hugs))

    Trish that is horrible ((hugs))

I found a way to get the points I need for Shoppers without buying a gift card. Shoppers are Soft Soap refills (the big jug, sorry at work so I cannot look at the size) on sale for $2.99, buy 2 get 2000 points. So instead of spending $30 on a gift card which yes I will use, I spent $13 (decided to buy 4 in total) and got more points than I needed plus more hand soap to add to my stockpile. I know some may look at this go I would never spend that must on soap but I still see it as a better deal to get what I needed. Really hoping we can get most of our stocking stuffers this way so $0 out of pocket (I have a gift card from last year a family member gave me to cover taxes).

Hope everyone has a great day

I'm hoping to redeem this weekend too at Shoppers. I have enough to go 2 times for the highest level but will decide once I'm there. Will hopefully get a few gifts and really want to get the steak and lean beef they have and hopefully some other groceries.

I am thinking I may pick up some items with my points at SDM this weekend and then get some money back on these free purchases through Checkout 51-worth a try.

Well it is official I am off next week to our new branch to help get everyone trained for opening and for some odd reason I am feeling extremely nervous about this. Maybe it is because I won't have a car well I am there or at least this is what I keep telling myself. That mixed in with a week of eating out, I probably one of the few rare who does not like to eat often, I find after a couple meals I am done with restaurant food and ready for home cooking again, but such is life on the road. Just have to remember to be smart about this or my tummy will show me it's disapproval.

Well I am away my car will get serviced which means my snow tires will be put on. Yeah, snow tires are a must some days just to get out of my parking lot at home.

Placed my Black Friday order with Old Navy, spent way more than I wanted too but I am sure a good amount of it will go back. I am not fully sure what size I needed so most things I ordered two different sizes and will return the one that does not fit, plus as always sometimes those shirts just look WAY better on the mannequin than on me. So I figure when all is said and done I should come in right on budget. I would have preferred to skip Black Friday but I desperately need sweaters, I only have 3 that fit and look good right now due to a little weight gain (which I am working on taking off).

Off to start packing up my work stuff to take with me next week, huge down side to not taking my car is I need to find a way to haul all of this with me in a way that is compact and not overly heavy as I will have to move it multiple times (my house to my car, my car to work, work to sales managers car, sales manager car to branch, branch to hotel). Wish me Luck (might need it, as a lot of paperwork needs to be taken with me).

    Good morning, everyone.

Just got back from the eye doctor. The surgery I had back in the spring worked perfectly. Nice Dr K told me that he doesn't want to ever see me again, although if I'm seeing one of the other specialists, I can always come by and say hi (apparently I'm the only patient he's had with an IV in the foot). I also stopped in at the other specialist (one stop shopping, er, diagnosing) down the hall. I have a nice Xmas present - the date of my cataract operation is set for Dec 23rd. Well, I really don't need to see the Xmas tree or presents that clearly, so should be ok.

Have to go do some cleaning now. While I was gone, a certain someone got bored and knocked over all the stacks of papers I was sorting last night. He is now in crazy cat mode, tearing around the condo, knocking into walls, furniture, his human....

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

    Morning.
I brought everything to the lawyer yesterday. Hopefully he proceeds quickly-I don't have any more money to pay him or borrow at this point. He's he second lawyer I looked into and I liked him immediately. Same hourly rate, retainer was negotiable.
I received something very special this morning and without mentioning her name I was offered a tree for free. Waking up to another otherwise dreary day, this was a beautiful surprise and I had happy tears. Thank you.
Recent blog post done today too. I will get through this. Thanks for the support I have received here.

Why not get a room with a kitchette so you can make food at "home" for the week?

We prefer to eat (cook) at home ourselves. If we get take out its usually Chinese. Or free dinner at the casino
