Thanks @flemeth - I got seven samples.
Good morning, all!
Just got a call from a nurse to do the vascular testing for my legs, she will come around 10. Don't know if she will also do my CFH test as well, today is my regular check up day - so that would make sense, but it depends on whether they are that coordinated or not.
Had a decent sleep, not great, but good enough.
Have a Terrific Tuesday!
Wish this were my lap!

Yeppers! ty @flemeth and @Newfiescreech for posting here....I'd been up since 6 a.m. refreshing and checking so as soon as it went live I was there! Nice haul, even if I had to " fib " a bit on some questions...lol. ( lucky 13! )

Leg testing done, she sure was thorough, it took an hour - yet, faster than with most people, she said. She was a very nice nurse, part of the wound care team.
Lynn, you are right about any sleep being good sleep - that is so very true for me.
Oh, and I lost 7.6 pounds since the 11th. Food does not taste good yet. I have really been trying to get my eating back to normal, but it's just not getting there...

Food doesn't take great, @Natalka ? Gosh, I wish!! Just kidding....if you shouldn't be losing weight then it's certainly not a good thing...are your meds interferring with the taste of foods?
I'm on a break, resting my back which is still sore, but DH took me to the clinic and I got a prescription for muscle relaxants since your suggestion of Robax Platinum is the only thing that works, but of course I can't take it over the border without it being in a prescription bottle. I think I have my outfits together that I'm taking, the temps in NY will be about 26-27, so balmy and lovely.DD is picking me up for the airport at 5:30am Thursday morning, we'll be landing in Newark at 10:30am.
I hope we can get through customs quickly, and with my walker I can get through that shorter line, which helps.
Okay...break-time's over, movin' right along here.
Take good care, everyone, and have a lovely evening!!

Thanks I got 12 samples. Pretty good for me this time. A nice selection of the bread, granola, healthy Choice etc.
had my contact fitting today. They said I’m actually ok at putting them in and taking out. Seeing far away was good but they will increase the prescription because reading was blurry. They’re multi focal so they will call me next week when they get the next test pair but they said use these for now to get used to using contacts.

Hello folks! I love the "Cat Lady Starter Kit!"
Our information gathering with respect to what's happening with my BrotherR continues. What's happening to make his leg give out? Where will he be able to live? What supports are available and who's going to take that cat? (Temporarily)
I haven't seen him in the respite home as I have been fighting a cold which seems to be feeling better. Tomorrow he will be assessed by an Occupational therapist who will decide on whether he needs a wheelchair and what kind.
His neurological assessment won't begin until Nov. 6 but at least he got in.
I've been putting together a little package of things he might like- cup-cakes, a Word-Find, some chocolate-
Tomorrow we're going to celebrate his birthday (which is actually the 26th) by going to a restaurant that he has been wanting to go to .
It was another glorious day! Indian Summer? I think that is not supposed to happen until after a frost(which we haven't had yet.) Quite breezy, though.
I'm falling asleep so I had better say.."Good night." Hope you all get a restful sleep.
