I'm so sorry to hear about Rufus! He's had a wonderful life with you and vice versa.

Well, the wedding that I am to do on Easter Weekend may get canceled, depending on whether restaurant closures get extended into April. They were to have 80 guests but that has to change, either way. I was supposed to meet with them this weekend, but I am cancelling and telling them to hold onto their licence. I am practicing social distancing and staying in except to walk Tootie and to go and get groceries. I can get the licence from them on Good Friday if they go ahead. I have offered to perform a smaller, backyard or indoor wedding at their parent's house if the venue is closed.

The weather is up and down like a toilet seat in a two-gender home.

Rain tonight. Very windy late tomorrow.

I have been washing everything and trying not to touch public spots like the elevator buttons, but it's such a habit. So I am washing my hands raw. Followed but applying handcream.

Our "Bistro" where we go to eat (meals covered in our rent) is now closed and so some people are struggling to get out for groceries and cooking. People are trying to help each other.

One of our residents has gone into the hospital with pneumonia and another with congestive heart failure and as of tonight, the hospitals are not allowing visitors. The fellow with heart failure turned 100 yesterday, which reminds me, I forgot to take down a card. He had relatives planning to come from the Netherlands to celebrate his birthday, but, of course, travel bans are now preventing that, even if he, in fact, passes away.

I must get to sleep. I hope you all sleep well and wake to the happiest of days tomorrow!

Over here, to be blunt, life is crappy. From the varied and sundries pains, walking even more restricted, and tomorrow I start back on a pee pill. Yah, I know it works, but geez it works really, really good for me.

Friday I get a nurse visit, as well as the physiotherapist. The latter emails me between visits, so that is nice.

Moving on to other crap - husband got laid off. Sheesh! There is never good timing for that, but we will lose our health benefits. We have applied for provincial coverage, but they have quite a high deductible which resets every six months, and that is only for meds.

Well, sleep has been icky, so I am going to try now.
