I had a breathing issue while I was walking Tootie this morning-so can I find my puffer? Not yet. Just sitting down with a cold drink. It was 4° when I let her out on the porch this morning. Chilly Willy! But it is sunny and has warmed up somewhat. The wind is a bit brisk but nothing compared to yesterday.

I'm off to have a nice steamy shower- hoping that will open up the airways.

I wanted to test my skills at making a batch of Piroshki, also curious as I had never eaten any before.
Had to begin early because yeast and fussiness, waiting, rising etc.
The dough did turn out amazing I must say, lovely to work with.




The filling was savory ( beef/sauerkraut, cabbage, carrot etc ) . Not sure I would bother making again, seemed like too much effort.
ha ha

Oh ! almost forgot....Congrats @Natalka on your niece's virtual wedding day! The dress was pretty and whimsical.

@avoncallingu , there seems to be so much that irritates me lately, it's either cabin fever or late middle age!! Hahaha!
We cancelled family Thanksgiving dinner also....can't be too careful, there'll be a lot of visitors from "down south" coming up, so our Daughter grounded us for 2-3 weeks, hahaha!! Seriously! With family members back to work outside the home, our Grandson in school, guitar lessons, and a GoodLife Fitness membership, our bubble has BURST!

So we just placed a huge pick-up grocery order from Superstore that'll do it for us for a while, and if we need this or that, we just have to ask them to pick it up for us.
@walkonby , OMGosh, my Mom used to make Piroshki for special days and they were always amazing! These days they do seem like a lot of work, but oh, so rewarding! Enjoy!! I recall some of them being served with Kasha and sour cream...

On my 4th trial painting...it's coming along, but I'm sure there'll be a few more before I'm happy with it.

I am wondering if anyone here knows LittleMoe or FallenPixels in person, as I am trying to ask them for help to recover my Facebook account, Woofy Musings.

I accidentally locked myself out when trying to set up a page, and now need people who are my friends in that account to help me recover the account.

Tried contacting them via Facebook Messenger, but to no avail.

Any help will be appreciated!

Its a chilly one out this morning . Will be a very busy day here for me . I want to do some baking for our long weekend. will be trying a few new recipe that members post.

I'm excited to try making that cake that is baked inside a small cleaned out pumpkin. ( on Monday when we do our dinner )
Going to use the Duncan Hines Deluxe carrot cake mix and buy a small pie pumpkin. I don't think anyone here will be game to eat the outside skin of the pumpkin when they carve into their piece ( even though the recipe says it is all edible )

I am posting a silly video BUT don't waste time on the whole thing, go directly to 3:10 on the thing to where the Meerkat and the regular cat are in sync! ha ha



Oh and btw, who lets their domesticated Meerkat run wild spilling everything out of everywhere to satisfy his own curiosity?

A side note here about the Piroshki. Both DH and DS went crazy over them, so yeah guess I'll have to make them again at some point. DH has Ukrainian blood running through his veins so that explains why I guess?
