Good day everyone! Shout out to @cath007 and how well her Dad is coming along! (I will keep praying)
I decided that my neighbour was on to something wearing a scarf in the cold and decided to try it myself in this windchilled weather. All it did was fog up my glasses worse than the blasted masks(so I had to take my glasses off) and caused me to slobber into it!(indeed it was the mask as I don't usually slobber). That experiment was short lived and I will go out for the balance of my walk without one, and every walk thereafter. To the best of my knowledge the scarf does not need to be incinerated as it was not a flag, so I will wash it well and pass it along.
I always say take your blessing where you can find one and I am indeed thankful for the sunlight and the cup of Timmies that awaits me!

good ( nearly afternoon ) all!
I was up, but busy, busy doing nada!
We had a fun Sunday ( which is saying plenty considering the crash and burn from the Leafs and Raptors games. We can only hope the Winnipeg Jets lose all of their games this week while the Leafs have their full week off. ( they are nipping at our heels in points )

Hope the week forward shows more promise of vaccinations for all. Have a great week everyone.

@walkonby , they turned out perfectly! Until you opened the oven door, I'm assuming? Because that must have been what happened to me hence me not making them ever again,hahaha! Your dinner sounded perfect!!

For our sporting interests, we've all made our bracket picks for the NCAA tournaments, so we'll see who has bragging rights after the final 498 games, or so it seems, lol!

Good late afternoon everyone!!!
Grocery is done but I am very tired.A good chunk of money went to that but I stocked on pantry items.
My aunt given me a salmon pot pie so It is in the freezer .
My freezer and fridge are full and good for at least 1 week,
I will call that a day
Have a good evening and night too tired so I take a break from cleaning,made a few deals at the grocery.But so happy I have done it .(had a list)

Dad just called me .He feel asleep at lunch time this is why he did not call me. He saw his cardiologist and will be home tomorrow or wednesday..they dont kept them long because they need the beds and many surgery are waiting...
Her sister will drive him
I and he will now have to face it the new reallity
We will do menu planning and it will be ok.

Thought I'd hang around here in case the SampleSource goes live today, but as usual I'm dozing off every few minutes surfing sites. My usual animal videos are just not keeping me alert enough.
I WAS toying with the idea of watching the most recent Snowpiercer episode on Netflix, but drifting off to sleep would certainly happen there.

Good 🌅 morning!

Was glad to have several hours of sleep before getting up at 4:30 - I had been awake the whole day yesterday and did not sleep at all the night before.
So last night I was way overtired, add to that having been hit badly with nausea and stomach upset from my Monday dose of methotrexate - I was a frickin' mess!

Poor husband having to deal with me through all of this, but he's amazing to do so especially when he is not in great shape himself.
He does, however, have the magic of sleep on his side. I woke him to get me juice and tea this morning, and he was back snoring in five minutes ...lucky duck.

Had sad news here that our friend and former doctor passed away, at 89. My husband last talked to him in the summer.

He was our doc since we moved here in 1995, until he retired about 10 years ago. My husband knew him much longer than that, they had been friends first.
Aside from being a sweet and funny man, he was an amazing dr. Because he was such a long time fixture here, whenever we needed tests or referrals, he would always get us in very quickly.

When my husband would have an appointment with him, he would go out the back door and get doughnuts from the bakery next door for them to have a relaxing appt in the lounge!
His daughter was our son's pediatrician, who was the only one who nailed his medical prob when he was six, as being migraines.

woo hoo! I managed to stay awake and logged into SampleSource right at 9 a .m. ( Got 13 samples, but so weird I got an extra one after the initial choices were made picking from the first batch. Almost like a bonus one )
That may have been the 13th one...I dunno, I'll find out when they get here I guess?
