Lots of tidying to do after a fast paced weekend. Got hugs and kisses from my two nephews as they played their video games. Good to see them, though!

Happy monday!

Had some sleep, but sciatica was horrible each time I woke during the night.

Visitor today will be the doctor. She is most awesome, so for whatever the reason I don't mind seeing her. She is very open, direct, and explains things thoroughly.

(Plus, sorry if this sounds juvenile, but I love listening to her talk, she's from Denmark, lived a long time in South Africa, so she has the coolest accent. She also dresses very funky in flowy clothes, bracelets all up one arm, gorgeous good goods on most fingers...)

Thanks again, everyone, for your good wishes, prayers, and continued encouragement. It's all much appreciated!

^^^ adorable! ( I mean about the swooning over her accent ) I get that, I am mesmerized many times from an accent.
So....did I miss anything or did @danger_dan get a 2nd puppy?? maybe I read his post wrong.
Things around here are pretty much same old...same old.
Counting the weeks left of the summer....then hopefully we can have a cooling off and colourful Fall season before that nasty white stuff shows up.
Oh gosh I am still laughing at this crazy commercial that has been around for a while now, I finally got to show it to the family and they laughed as well....so I will post it to share the chuckles!!

OMGosh, @walkonby ...those are genius!! Love the little voices, esp with those footballers, hahaha!!!

Speaking of accents, our DD's assistant is from England and has a very British accent, so much so that she sometimes has to repeat things to our DD a few times until she 'gets it'. She just loves her accent, so I sent this to her, which she sent to her assistant:




Personally, I'm in love with Aussie accents; I watch every episode of Masterchef Australia, every season, and so enjoy hearing them speak. We almost ended up there by choice before we settled down here....our DD would be so sweet with an Aussie accent! hahaha!!!

I (think I) mentioned back on Friday that the Lady and I were puppy sitting for her Brother this weekend, so we had two puppies this weekend.

Oh, walkonby, those Haribo commercials are so sweet, yet hilarious! Makes me want to get the starmix, even though I am not a gummies fan. I'm a jujubes gal. Son loves the squidgy ones, especially cola bottles.

Lynn, I totally agree about Aussie accents!

My son and I decided many years ago that if we were ever to have to get very bad news, such as 'you only have three months left to live', we wanted it delivered by the same man - you know how some people would pick James Earl Jones, etc.?

It's a doctor with our health region, he is often on the local news regarding outbreaks, health issues, etc. I guess it's just his face, but he always has a happy look to him, and a Fab accent. His name is Dr. Johnmark Opondo

@Natalka, I just figured out how to refresh a page on my tablet, and this weekend a gal showed me how to use the "share" feature!
I still don't know how to copy/paste!!

@danger_dan....what happy pups!!! And I agree...Cooper is one handsome young boy!!! We had that big campground dinner this past weekend and I was one of those people who'd spot a dog and go up to the owners and say, "Can I pet your dog?". I can't keep my paws off them!!!!

@Lynn49 - I'm trying to talk DH into going to Detroit in October for the Seahawks game. He doesn't like the idea of paying $100 per seat for the upper deck near the very back. Imagine that.
