I am waiting with baited breath to see what happens with the vote on Kavanagh in the States.

The fire inspection of our building yesterday was very different than I anticipated. Consisted of ringing ear-piercing alarms all day! Tootie , of course, was fine.

Must work on final version of next week's wedding and contact another couple.

Search Committee meeting went very well.

Good morning, everyone!!!!

A drizzy day here, but what the heck, I never planned on going outside anyway. Well...we'll be out later, but at our DD's home for nibbles and euchre. We just got home and they leave tomorrow, and in spite of the fact that she and I spent almost 2 hours on the phone last night, seems they still want us over..hahaha!! We miss each other when we're separated...

Blah, blah, blah wrt the kavanaugh nonsense.....he'll get in, the good 'ol boys will make sure of that, and I'll drop into a faint if that isn't true! However, I hope the women in the US use their votes to oust those old geezers who only look after their own interests, while spouting fairness to "the little people out there". When we were there, I wanted to have another pack of Robax AC, but would you believe that they need a prescription for muscle relaxants there?!! So no RobaxAC for me. I ended up not needing more, but jeepers!!!

Okay, on with the day!!

@Lynn49 hey I'm a guy and I agree with you. I saw they were going to vote and I was like why we all know how that will go.

Anyway today was busy lol. Value village at 9am but didn't find any good jackets but I got a couple hoodies and shirts. Then I took the bus to the mall where I bought a winter jacket at Winners for $100. Then I went to the Dollarama and no frills in the mall. When I got back home I put my stuff away and walked to food basics. I decided to wait till Monday for my laundry lol.

Oh yeah lol. Then I ate lunch at 2pm and finally took the stuff out of my value village bag. At value village my debit card didn't work so she took everything out of the bag and then I realized no wonder because I had taken the $720 out at an ATM lol. So she put everything back and I paid cash. When I realized 1 item was missing I went back. I was sure which item was missing so they gave me a refund. I then bought a pair of shorts. Now I'm done completely for the day at 4.30pm lol.

Ohhhh my god cabmonk..guess you were that busy you forgot about cash you had ..sounds like something i would do too .lol will at least they refund you and then you got shorts .
