Lynn, wow, I agree - we have had days of fog, not just in the morning.
Your evening sounds wonderful, and another nice one today - you are so lucky!

I came close to cancelling physio this aft, but then I thought maybe she should see me when I can barely move, so I left it as is.

I have been doing all my exercises, though, til this morning.
Maybe a miracle will come before 2 p.m.?

Well, since my fall on Thanksgiving day, the shoulder that I landed on has been in such pain that I could barely lift my arm, pain from my shoulder up my neck to my head. I was pretty sure nothing was broken or fractured, so I made an appt with my physiotherapist for Monday.

Well guess what?! I woke up this morning without a single stitch of pain, I can move my arm normally, no headache, nothing!! I think it's a Christmas miracle!!

So, I cancelled my appointment! Go figure, huh? Just like that, gone!
It's so nice to be normal again!

@Lynn49 I am glad you are back to yourself and have no pain . What a Christmas miracle for the person who loves Christmas the most. December is here just 24 more days to go

Did a lot of running around today, mostly grocery shopping. Anyway, I get home and pay my rent. My landlord asked how much money I made and was shocked it was so low. So I pay my rent which isn't high at $515.. An hour later the landlord is knocking on my door to give me back $100 and says until future notice he's lowering my rent to $415 and hopes that will help a bit. I was definitely speechless and grateful.

@cabmonk I am positive you are a very good tenant for your landlord to be so kind to you. You deserve it. It also cones at at great time the holiday season. Guess he is in the Christmas spirit of giving.

Wishing you all a great weekend.
I have so much to do and there is not enough hours in the day. Today I will try to finish up my Christmas shopping for one of family the school I volunteering at is sponsoring. I am helping out the Kindergarten.
This is another one of the activities I like to be involved in during the Christmas season.

Also if anyone is doing the shop the Block offer for airmiles today is the last day to do the LCBO offer so I will be getting a bottle of wine today. Will gift it to my DD since I am not a drinker.

Thanks guys, I know my landlord is too good to me lol. Meanwhile other people have been a pain in his butt and evicted recently. I don't give him any trouble. There have been tenants that would say hey did you know this happened or hear about so and so. I'm like no I didn't because I try to mind my own business and stay out of trouble.

Things are better in one way, but not in another. However, my husband has been home to help me out greatly!

About being strong, I had never thought about myself that way. But yesterday, my physiotherapist said the team had been discussing me and said that they couldn't believe I was doing the things I was all those weeks when my heartrate was so low - others would just have stayed all day in bed.

I always thought of it as being stubborn, not necessarily strong!


Another foggy day here - so crazy for here!

@Natalka , our DD comments about how strong I've been, through my best friend's passing, my broken leg, 4 surgeries, but you and I both know it all has more to do with accepting the hands we've been dealt, which may require a type of strength, but mostly it's about not fighting against or getting defeated by them. When crap hits, what other choice do we have but to get through it?! Our strengh is our determination, I guess, to do what needs to be done to finish with it. Now of course, losing a loved one is different...we get through those first few days, but everyone knows we never "get over" the loss.
Strong? You may be right.....more stubborn than anything else. ...and never defeated!
We're warriors! Hahaha!

worked for a water company in the labs and one of the sections was medical micro-biology. Part of that was food micro-biology. We ended up having to padlock the micro-waves used in that section to stop people popping in to heat up their meals.

After a really great day of shopping, I hit the wall again, with pain in my toe. Sounds silly, but when it is hurting, I can hardly catch my breath and walking is out of the question.

That's where I am tonight -chomping at the bit to get things done but relegated to just wishing.

Bought some Christmas "Wickedly Delicious" treats at the Arts and Crafts fair today. Yummy!

Well, have a great evening. We are somehow supposed to get freezing rain before it goes up to 11° tomorrow.
