Hahaha...you beat me to it, @GoJays ...I was going to post that you "thirded" it. @Natalka ...you "forthded" it. Glad we cleared that up. @flemeth , computers are either helpful or one of the most evil things on earth!! Our printer right now, is evil. I hope yours gets corrected soon...it's so frustrating!

DD dropped in for a coffee this morning after her chiropractor's appt for her back...we ladies in our family are so blessed with sciatica; she'll need to go back 3x a week for 3-4 weeks to get it corrected. She also has a deep massage appt at 12:30 with a gal she always goes to at the Renaissance centre here. I hope she feels better so soon...she did manage to get into work for an hour this morning, poor muffin.

Okay! Back to work, everyone!! Or....back to being "useless" @GoJays ! Hey...you said it, not moi!!

Hello-thought I would drop by to say, "I saw the SUN!" Briefly but, still, puts a smile on one's face.

I will definitely "fifth" it for Sam-I'd LOVE to share a fifth with him!!!!!

Threw out all offending plants and went to a Nursery to get the "powder" stuff to save the plants I want to definitely keep. SHOULDN'T start nosing around at a Nursery! I found a Clearance Section for 80% off random things. I got a beautiful pumpkin tureen for $8. I also got a couple of beautiful square glass "bowls" that had obviously been used for holding plants and they just didn't want to clean them, I guess. I'm going to fill them up with small Christmas bulbs and twinkle lights as a present for someone-maybe me! I have a "Victorian Village" kind of display that I like to put up on the top of the cupboards. I discovered a lovely snow-covered house that was "missing a figurine" on for 80% off as well. No one is going to notice a missing figurine from the vantage point of the kitchen.

Oh, I found a few other things that I just HAD to get to make someone's Christmas fun. Really wanted to buy a poinsettia but since I am on a mission to rid my home of "little flying beasties" I can't bring in new plants for at least 2 weeks while those little gnats go through their birthing cycle. Yuck !

I did pass up on the little shot glasses with drawings of cockroaches on them. Who thought those would be a good idea to sell?

No mail yet today. Really hoping that my US cheque comes in so I can build up my bank account a little over the weekend.

Good early morning! Tootie woke me up barking in her sleep. I didn't get to sleep until 2. Yes, the woman gave up her career for love..... Yes, her daughter loved the new guy..... Yes they kissed just as the credits began to role. Some people are addicted to crack... for me, it's Hallmark Christmas movies...I KNOW they aren't good for me but I just HAVE to watch!

What, in heaven's name, will they show leading up to Valentine's Day?

I'm going to try for another little snooze -head is pounding- took the Excedrine migraine but they have caffeine in them. A woman can TRY, can't she?

2 more Saturdays -gee, I wonder what the stores will be like today?

Good morning!!!

Dinner with the kids was wonderful last evening, but we all seemed to hit a wall at around 10pm....exhausted but happy! Our GS is loving his 12-days of Christmas gifts he opens each morning, so that makes me happy, too!

Nail appt at 1pm, followed by MORE searching for that perfect $10 white elephant/secret Santa gift for our family dice game Christmas day...our DD has 3 "great" ideas, our GS has his idea, and I'm drawing a blank here!! So...back to HomeSense, Marshalls, and perhaps KitchenBits for inspiration...I'm usually much better at this, dang it.

Enjoy your day, everyone! Be careful of other drivers and pedestrians who aren't paying full attention to where they're going today...or any day leading up to Christmas!! It's sunny here, so that makes everything better!

Merry Saturday all!! Fam is great. They had some British dancing show on the tv. It was amazing. Apparently it was the final. Really enjoyed it! Wishing all a wonderful weekend.
