I understand about wondering if it's pan-fried or not, but baked low and slow it should crisp up. Do you use Panko crumbs? It's pretty much an entree we can't mess up as long as the chicken isn't overcooked. I like gruyere cheese instead of mozz, though, but that's just a personal choice...which is what cooking and baking (not my strong suit) is all about, right? Good luck, Jays!

Thanks Lynn. I ended up not making it because I didn't have the damn bread crumbs. Yes, the Panko ones. Good thing I had crappy frozen pizza in the freezer.

Wow, lol...quite the difference, but sometimes that crappy frozen pizza just hits the spot perfectly!

I was excited....then deflated, then a tad depressed, then dozed off temporarily......not much had changed when I woke up but I remained hopeful. Then in the 3rd period the Leafs tied the game getting 3 goals!!
However, they lost in O.T.
That was my evening in a nutshell.

GROOOAAANNN! Don't get me going on Gardner again....I mean so far this year I would say he has improved....but he has this lackadaisical approach to going back for the puck in his end that screams overconfidence, then he gets stripped of it of course!
I was convinced they were not even going to tie the game so that part was very exciting...honestly Detroit? They should have beaten this team, I think it was because Sparks was in net tbh. Anderson would have stood on his head and stopped most of those goals.

o.k. no more hockey talk I think I see GoJays eyes rolling back in her head....ha ha !!

TGIF...yes!! A bit of strategic running around today for me to fit a few appts in and get DD where she needs to be.
If I can manage it a little shopping!! Keeping my eyes open for that one gift I know someone here would love, I just haven't found it yet because I have no clue what it will be until I see it. ( aka...impulse buy! )

Son is very sick with a cold and fever, hoping it's not the flu.

It's a year ago since he had his broken leg surgery. I just remember feeling so badly for him - he got it done at the same hospital I was in then, so I got to see him pre- and post-surgery.

Well, I got my morning laughs!
Nat-I am sorry you aren't "in the pink".
My "Travelling Food Dude" stepson is off to-of all places- WINNIPEG - but he must follow his beloved Tampa Bay Lightning and I bet he got a cheap flight.

Does anyone know anyone in Winnipeg who could give him some suggestions about food places to check out? He would really appreciate the tip. You can check out his adventures at "Travelling Food Dude" on Instagram or Facebook. He would appreciate any comments you leave.

Well, I have to get flying to the physio who is NOT going to be impressed- and then it's off to the "Dog Whisperer" to have a little chat with my pooch. She has really not been well gastricly in the past couple of days. She was trying to find grass to eat yesterday but couldn't find enough to help her up-chuck so she didn't eat or drink or anything all day. A better start to today, though.

My plan to take the car and do a little shopping all by myself were dashed by our -30 temperature this morning. So.....more gift-wrapping to do for us abd for our DD....too funny...this year all our gifts are wrapped in silver paper with red ribbons, and she decided on silver paper with blue ribbons! They all look so cute under our tree.
