GoJays- I hate to say it but I have only watched 1 game so far and we're almost at the half-way point of the season.

I brought an area rug home from the Pre-garage sale sorting last night but it's just not going to work, so it's going back today . I have to go and pick up some more donations from that lady that donated before but I will have help with the hauling this time.

Promises to be a steamy one today.

Husband seriously needs the break. He is not well, so I don't know how he has been working as he has.
@flemeth though my sleeping is way far from normal, it has been somewhat better this past week. I hope it continues to improve.

@Natalka that is a relief to hear that your DH will get some much needed R & R for a couple of weeks. So sorry to hear that he too is not feeling his best, lets hope that time off regenerates him. Gosh how I remember the struggle of dragging myself into work when I was too sick to work but had to ( management overlords )

It did not feel quite as humid out back with the doggies this morning, we had a lovely sit and cuddling session until the hyperactive pooch 2 yards over started her shrill yapping! That just got Murphy barking back at her, couldn't talk him down so we had to retreat to the A/C once again, no sense waking the rest of the neighbours up.
Thanks @avoncallingu for the reminder of having plenty of water, I'll be supplying DH with some when he cuts the lawn later on.

For those of you away relaxing on beaches or lounging on decks have a wonderful Canada Day!!!

Good morning everyone . It’s already a very hot day. I am debating if I want to go to a BBQ today that I was invited to it’s too hot to be out and not near water but it’s Close relatives so I will decided what to do. @Natalka Sorry that your DH is also not feeling great some rest at home will do him good. @walkonby I walk Thor this morning at 6:30 and I was hot and sticky . Stay cool everyone and enjoy your Saturday.

Hot, stcky here on the island also, but isn't this exactly what we were waiting for through those blizzards? Not exactly for me...I should have been more specific: 34 was just too much yesterday. We'll see what today brings.

@Natalka , I hope your DH really does get some r&r while he's at home instead of taking on "those jobs" at home we all seem to have waiting for us. I suspèct he's like many of our DHs who can't seem to sit still. I hope he gets some rejuvenating rest.

@cabmonk , I thought I has responded to your new adventure.....congrats on being recognized for your efforts! Your hard work is really paying off!

@avoncallingu ....5 sleeps until we pick you up at the airport!!

Good morning, all!

Ah, y'all have the heat and we do not, yay! It will come again soon enough...

Just getting the morning started to be ready for the nurse coming. They start at nine, but one never knows when a nurse will come. Sometimes they phone ahead, but not often. So, just need to be clean and ready, have supplies, etc.

@Lynn49 thanks, it's still a work in progress but I'm still on track. Still trying to sort out all my eating. Bought 3 rotisserie chickens and broke it all down. I foil wrapped individual portions and put in a couple freezer bags. Also bought 4lbs of ground chicken. Spinach, cucumbers, grape tomatoes etc. Cottage cheese and a bit of yogurt along with strawberries for breakfasts. Also some stevia and lemon juice to make some lemonade. Bought 1 - 6pk of zevia cola also. I was surprised at how many things I saw at food basics that I can never find at Walmart. Anyway I hope everyone has a good day.
