Good morning!!!

Up early, we saw our dr yesterday too, and he's a little concerned that DH's calf pain might be a blood-clot, so off we go to get his ultrasound done this morning...he said thank goodness he's on blood-thinners, though! I'm going because I need a chest x-ray because of how I've been feeling lately, and a host of blood-work this afternoon.
Yep...life in the fast-lane in retirement!!

ha ha !!! oh thanks @GoJays for those puns. Yes, I am waaaaay too invested in CNN and the Trump.
I watched this silly segment on tv about a dog ( it was a mix of 2 breeds ) smallish dog. They even gave his name, which I now forget!
The story was about his crazy human-looking mug, and the pics they showed were super.
But of course all the internet search gives me is weirdo dogs from a while back.

Grrrr! I am trying to find the one I saw this morning.....anyhow...first world problems for sure.
Not sure what I feel like doing today....after a few errands I'll just go with the flow.

Morning everyone and @Lynn49 hope the Dr's appointment goes well. Oh I also just got back from the food bank. 15 cans of different beans, chickpeas, veggies etc. 6 boxes of cereal and lots more. Also gave me a huge bag of chicken legs, fried chicken and some sausages. However considering I'm trying to be vegan I gave all the meat to my downstairs neighbor.

Jays, your postings started off my wacky Wednesday in a more positive way.

Husband always checks my legs before putting on my stockings in the morning, and today I hear Uh-Oh... I say what? He went to get his glasses and, gah, there is a big blister on my right shin. Wasn't there last night before bed when he lotioned my legs.

So then we had to decide what to do - leave leg nekkid, just put stockings on, use gauze or bandage first? We went with using a padded bandage in case the blister broke, but it wasn't hard to get the stocking over.

This just leaves me POed... This is how the crap started on my legs the last two times, and I have only been out of the darned bandages for ten days.
Will just have to wait to see how the nurse assesses it today.

Lynn, hope all goes well with your husband. I had to have that ultrasound once, it was the second most kind of embarrassing one I ever had. Just had no idea they were going to get so personal!
Hoping things are okay for you as well.

Yep, I think you two should turn off US politics and get a bit more domestic!

Hello folks, you may see CTV coverage of a house explosion in Kitchener this morning. It was the house directly across the street from my brother's house. My nephew was home alone at the time. Everyone in the family is safe but they can't go back to their home until it has been checked for structural damage.
A woman, their neighbour was killed and a man taken by air ambulance to hospital.
Prayers, please, folks. Sorry to have such news. Hug your family.

oh goodness avon^^^ hope their home is found to be structurally sound. That is sure frightening.
