Slowcooker adventure - my third time using it - without a net (no recipe)

Milan loved it and said I had better make it again, so to mark that recipe in the cookbook. Uh, no cookbook, but I will write it out for myself so I don't forget what I did!
Taffy licked our dishes clean, and enjoyed the fatty bits I don't eat, lol!
I just knew that slow cooker meal would be a slam dunk, ( despite you having no net ) lol! Congrats Natalka.

I dug up a recipe for Spinach and Lentil Soup so I'll whip that up once I get home. Judging by the recipe, I should have enough for lunch tomorrow too!

I have the ultimate confession....pork and beans with weiners mixed in and toast! We were late getting home and I was too exhausted to make anything else. Sad thing was is that the girls ate more than what they would had I made a gourmet dinner for them!!!

Yum! Yum! I made the same darned thing last Saturday for the first time! I'm on a lentil kick over the past year. They are soooooo tasty! I got my recipe from allrecipes, (I think). The recipe I had made a PILE of lentil soup and the stuff is so incredibly hearty. Only problem for me was the lentils absorbed most of the water so it's more like lentil stew...and that was after I added an additional quarter more water than the recipe called for.

Anyway, hope yours turned out well too!

I made nachos for dinner tonight - sort of a treat - with scoops tortillas, ground beef seasoned with taco seasoning, red pepper, green pepper, red onion, lots and lots of cheese and olives and jalapenos on the adult side! Yum Yum

    I say YUM to that!

Last night we had boneless garlic ribs from our local butcher (already cooked, frozen), which were awesome; baked fries, and coleslaw.

I made more of that vegan lunch meat again yesterday and made a couple sandwiches this morning for breakfast. It seemed even better this time around. This time I actually remembered to take some pics.

    This is my favorite...
cream cheese layered on the bottom of a pan, next comes browned hamburg that has had taco seasoning and 1 cup of water added to it, then red and green diced peppers with a little bit of salsa mixed in, add shredded cheese to the top and bake for about 15 minutes at 350. It is soooo good!

Last night I made spinach phyllo pie, Caesar salad.
Tonight will be spaghetti - tomato sauce with Philly cooking creme for the men; plain sauce for me.
