Tonight is taco's. I made the filling this morning before I went shopping, so all I have to do know is heat up the filling and some tortilla's, already prepped this morning, so cheese and veggies all done and in the fridge. I've noticed that when its only dh and I we eat later and later all the time. 8 or 9 is nothing for us, so your 10pm Kim didn't sound all that bad to me, lol

My sleep schedule was more off than usual, so I didn't get up til after 6 p.m., and the men couldn't find the kitchen, nor any food (OH, NO!!!), so they waited til I got up to decide what to do.
Gave them three options, majority ruled on 7-Eleven wings and fries. I was cool with that, they were delish!

Funny thing...my husband has no trouble making his own lunch and midnight snacks but when dinner time hits he losses all abilities to be a fully functioning adult in the kitchen! lol Works for me though as I am particular when it comes to food.

Homemade hamburgers with a blue cheese and mayo sauce, roasted corn of the cob (our first time for 2012!!), tomato and cucumber salad, and straticella soup with chicken meatballs as a throw-in for the kids. They usually play more with the hamburgers than they actually eat lol.
    Pure summer meal!

LOL, it's true! My husband will cook if I ask him to, but won't think of doing it on his own. He has the ability! Mind you, so does my son these days! It's not that they are lazy, they just don't think of it - no matter how hungry they are.

I'm a guy,lol and love to cook but I went to culinary school so who knows.

Tonight I used my new big boss grill (even though we have a viking professorial gas range..lol.

I made a couple homemade burgers, with sliced tomatoes and bacon. Then I changed the grill plates and made smores on the grill as they made in the infomercial which turned out nice.
