    Ok so tonight was:

    Rice (Thanks Harbie!)
    Courgette Curry
French beans and corn(curried!) - well ok, the recipe called for corn but can you imagine i have NONE in the house!!!How on earth did that happen, cos normally i have bags of the frozen stuff . Anyway, i replaced it by yellow pepper .
    and coriander chutney.

Got to say, it was a good food night - all new recipes and all worked really well!

Oh and i made a chocolate pudding for dessert (Lets face it, you can't really go wrong with choccie!!)

So... I was going to make chicken nuggets and fries, then spotted a lone pork butterfly chop in the freezer... So I made General Tso Pork! It was fabulous, cooked it with onions, mushrooms and green peppers, with homemade sauce, over rice!

I made Hong Kong sweet n sour pork though surely no one in Hong Kong has ever made it like this, lol. It's surprising I tried the recipe since it has ketchup in the sauce. The sauce sounds odd, but is so delicious, and it is by far the best breaded pork I have ever tasted. Potato starch is the key. Here is the recipe if anyone is interested: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/hong-ko...-and-sour-pork

Don't know how in the world I got my days mixed up - thought yesterday was Wed. so I planned a meatless meal - we had baked fish, roasted potatoes, corn and peas.

Tonight will be the pork, veggie, and barley casserole I made a few days ago, with pasta.

Last night I made grilled porkchops with beans and some jazzed up boiled potatoes with rosemary, fresh garlic and some blue cheese, ymuuy!

Tonigh I going to bbq a really nice thick rib steak, can't wait. I'll through a few spuds in the oven and also roast some turip, carrots and parsnip to go with it.

Speaking of cheating on a diet(although I'm not actually on a diet, lol) This morning after work I made a poutine using mcains smile potatoes with sauteed mushrooms, poutine gravy and cheese curds. Was really good but I ate way too much.

So tonight is a mix & match dinner (lol) 2x chicken breasts, 2x Marc Angelo shish-kabobs, 2 x partridge breast (your choice) with pasta or pasta salad.

Tomorrow will be another mix & match dinner, thinking about using up my Wong Wing boxes, some VH Steamers and maybe a chicken fried rice with the last 2 or 3 egg rolls.

Friday will be fish & chips (Haddock 400g from this weeks FreschCo flyer (ending tonight)
    $2.99 - $1.00 = $1.99 for 5-6 pieces of fish = cheap dinner

Saturday is BBQ for sure, what not entirely certain but BBQ none the less!
