1000 PAGES! We are all crazy, and I love all of you!

Hmmm... a good thing? My 1 year old daughter took her first steps today, and she did it right to her daddy, who was scared he wasn't going to see it because he works 2 jobs. Life is grand at the Slade house today
That and football too.. and hubby made lunch, which was delicious.

Alright people, time for us to pull ourselves out the holes! For our own sakes, how about each of us emails, one good thing that happened to us this weekend to the thread??? I don't care if its 'I got to have my morning cuppa in peace and quiet!" I'll be happy for you!!!! Ok start NOW! and no you can't put anything negative in that post!!!!

Well, I spent a good part of yesterday baking for a potluck today. The dog cookies turned out great. Just as I had put the people cake into the oven, my dear little "I have lousy timing but I'm so cute you can't get mad at me" dog decided she had to go use the facilities. Right now! So I turned the oven off, took her outside. When I came back in, I found the cat nose first in the sink, licking batter from the bowl. After reprimanding him for being where he is not allowed to be, I turned the oven back on. Finished baking the cake, took it out of the oven and it seemed perfect. 5 minutes later, I had a piece of modern art that looked like the critters had helped themselves to a snack (they hadn't - part of the cake had collapsed).

So, the happy thing is that I went to my potluck, took a potato dish and grilled zucchini, but no dessert. As it turns out, the person who usually craves desserts was under the weather and didn't come, and the rest of us prefer main courses (we had lots of those). The really happy thing is that I'll be eating cake for the next week, although it won't start til tomorrow, since I'm still stuffed from lunch. Of course, now I have to go burn off some calories and clean my kitchen, which looks like a cyclone has been through it (dishes everywhere!).

Mmmmmmmmm it's so yummy! I'm eating it right now. I put extra mozza cheese on it and it's awesome gravy! It's "poutine" gravy Ohhh and I have the ketchup plastered all over it!

btw has anyone ordered anything from the silver jewelry club before?
i have two things coming and i freaking cant wait for them to get here am hoping they are really good quality since one is for my mom for her b-day...they emailed me that my stuff has shipped and can take anywhere from 6-20 days waiting patiently or at least trying to they could be here as early as halloween or as late as nov 20th hoping it doesnt take that long cause my mom's b-day is the 16th...

also does anyone know if i will have to pay duties or anything on them? i think they are coming from the states and it says US postal service so will they just end up in my mail box? idk i have never actually bought anything online before LOL
