Sorry to hear that so many of you are having or have had problems getting along with your mother. I guess I was one of the very fortunate ones to have a mother that I considered my best friend. Of course, not to say that she did have her moments, but overall she was a gem. Even tho she has been gone for 18 years, I still miss her so much especially around the holidays.

I was also one of the very fortunate ones to have the BEST mother in the whole world. I also considered my mom my best friend. I miss her every day and the pain just doesn't seem to go away. It will be 17 years on Saturday (Nov. 22nd) that's she ended her life. She was an abused woman by my father and she's in a safe place now. Although it was a HUGE price to pay to see her safe again, it's been very hard. Nov & Dec is a VERY tough time of the year for me. I also lost my grandpa who I took care of on Nov 24th, then my grandma died Dec. 20th and was burried on Dec. 23rd. But, I still try to be happy at the holidays. There's just a LOT of holes that cannot be filled by anyone

oh who asked me to watch my hubby for whiplash????

accident was tues. saturday he started complaining about his back. i said, maybe you did too much at work? (saturday he normally does strenuous work on floors, steam cleaning , or using buffers). no he said i din't do that much. i had mentioned whiplash to him tues or wed, he said, no he's fine, he wasn't moved that much, just moved the car ahead. i said, ya, but look at all the damage it did to the car, don't u think you might have sufferred some impact? so saturday, he starts considering it's whiplash, cause he says he din't do that much work on floors.

so today he moves the wrong way and it catches in his lower back. has to lie down several times. i said, you have to mention that to dr's wed. now he's saying maybe he worked too hard saturday.

OMG MEN, just shooooot me!!!

I'm the one that had mentioned that to you because I've seen so many people that went through it when I worked at the police office. It really should have been reported right away but as they say, better late than never...

Hope he soons gets better...kick him in the A$$ for me though for not heeding to the advice 1 week ago...

If it helps you at all my hubby is like RQ's man...takes care of me real good and cooks and cleans and bathes the kids...actually did all of that tonight cuz I was feeling very weak and faint. Love my man, he is the best

Mine's really sweet like that too. He cooks 95% of the meals in this house! He also bakes some yummy carrot cake with cream cheese topping, he makes THE best cheesecake from scratch. He does dishes, cleans the toilet and will sweep the floor and vacuum too! I think I'll keep him a while longer!
