Oh, you guys, they were SO good - I don't make them often, because it's dairy overload for me and I have to take pills to eat them.

I make mine with dry curd cottage cheese, smashed up finely - add a lot of dill, s+p, and an egg. Yesterday I added finely minced green onion.

I make my crepes a little thicker than most people, but not quite as dense as a pancake. I bake them with whipping cream poured over them, plus butter dotted on top - so they soak up all that yummy goodness. Serve with sour cream on top.

Usually I have one at the end of the meal with sugar sprinkled on top of the sour cream - forgot to do that yesterday, because I was full. We did have borscht before!

Yep, it was an awesome meal - and my men were very happy, too (especially my son, it's one of his faves). But, boo, no leftovers, lol!

Weather will be mild here - it rained yesterday, so driving won't be great here. We're supposed to get some snow today and/or tomorrow.

Sure is quiet on here on weekends...

Eek...just booked our flight and hotel in Washington for the cherry blossom festival and parade...now all I have to do is be able to walk!!! But that's quite the motivator (as if I needed one!).

Hope everyone has a safe weekend...only 6 weekends until Christmas! Use them wisely!

uh oh! Six more weekends, when you put it that way I NEED to get out there and start buying stuff!! ha ha . So far the only person who has gotten an early Xmas gift is moi!!

It was our Art's and crafts sale at church today. Since we've been cruising for the last 4 years in November, I've missed it for 4 years. I helped a little bit with the setup yesterday. The woman who organizes it asks for GC donations and then she puts together "themed" baskets which took a team of 6 people 6 hours to wrap yesterday.
There were 135 0f them. We also have fabulous woodworking crafters and wreath- makers and knitters and jewellery makers. It was breathtaking! And we apparently made over $8,000!
I am so exhausted I have gone to bed! But I only worked for a fraction of the time others did.
I contributed a bunch of personal care products that I had purchased for a song with coupons. They were distributed into various baskets.

I find I start Christmas shopping with the best of intentions, but always come home with more stuff for myself.
