What's For Dinner?

I bought a bag of frozen dumplings at an asian grocery today and will try my hands to make a chinese dumpling noodle soup. I don't have noodles, so I'll use spaghettini instead.

I don't know what we will be having, but I decided to make potato egg salad. Both ingredients are currently still cooking.

Dh said he wants to go out for dry ribs, so the ingredients for the potato salad are now in the fridge for another day. I boiled 1/2 the potatoes a little longer to eat separately. *shrug* I like their dry ribs too. So I guess soup/salad, baked potato, french fries, boiled veggies, dry ribs with extra lemon.

edit: forgot the garlic toast, LO's favourite part.

Finally back home, was on the road all week. got spoiled Monday stayed at Cousin's house and his wife cooked a wonderful dinner.

Tonight was simple pasta, had a 3 hour drive home so something easy and simple and best of all Mom cooked. Sometimes food just tastes better when someone else makes it.

Sobeys has Super Bowl promotions, so I picked up chicken wings tonight, got 20 bonus air miles and didn't have to cook. Double bonus!

Spending the weekend at the cabin so it's "eat t'ill you bust " kinda weekend...was at a neighbours cabin last night for dinner , they had bbq'd pork, steak, we made calamari ..today now a bunch of us from all the surrounding cabins are going for a long snowmobile ride across the island...tucked away is this little snack bar type place that has really awesome food, so we'll alll stop there for a bite to eat.
