Busy night DH @ work. Kids struggling to make through night and destroying house...le sigh. Both sound asleep now, dishes done, lunches done, pick-up done, laundry on...time for course work...double le sigh.
On the bright side: We have had some ant problems. (Of course...this is April surprise of living in the "new" house). One more month of surprises and then we have been here a year and should know the yearly schedule of strange and wonderful...maybe. Anyway, I say bright side, because DH met someone who does commercial pest control (think keeping things away from produce). He gave us some AMAZING stuff that is totally working. I have more ants than I want to see in the kitchen right now, but they have gone for the bait! Yay...so sick of those creepies.
Dinner. GF pasta and canned beans. Fed 3 and have 2 lunches pack from it. $5."There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

@Granger and anyone else having issues with ants, put out baking soda and they will eat and blow up (lol), the baking soda will expand in them and you can figure out the rest.

Good morning, everyone.
Off to get bloodwork done this morning. Had a couple of interesting days. I'll fill in the blanks later, have to go snuggle the brats before I run off.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good Morning Everyone,
Well I am off again next week, will be heading out one of our other branches for a few days. Will grab some food on the weekend to take with me to eat during the day well in the branch. I am horrible when I travel I get so involved in what I am doing I do not eat all day and than just have dinner which is so not good for me and I know it.
Last night was leftovers out of the freezer so no real cost as I usually do not account for left overs when working out our costs on dinners. Tonight's dinner is yet again a mystery, Mom is working so only me for dinner but will have to see what is up when I get home as I got a text from Mom that the TV is not working so may spend most of the night on the phone with rogers. Mom is positive it is the TV but I think it is the box. Is there any possibility it may just start working again.
Well back to work, have a great day everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@SassyAshley I hope it's not the tv, we had a scare earlier this week with the volume not working on the tv, I went into panic mode as it's a flat screen but after turning it off for 5 minutes and turning back on it worked....the flat screens have a very short life span (2-5 years) compared to the old tube tvs. Hope it's a simple fix

Morning all,
I did some preliminary budget figures, dh & I will go through some numbers this afternoon BUT what I don't like is that PC financial online banking is not real time. What I mean is eventhough some of my payees received their funds, they are not showing as having gone through, I don't like this to be honest BUT I'll give it a try.
Anyone else notice this and how many days does it take to post the transaction going through. My mtg payment from last Friday showed up on Tuesday so I'm guessing it takes 2 days to post?
Dinner tonight is leftovers so no cooking for me just rewarming.
We're off to pickup new boots for dh, will not be frugal but budgeted for so it all works out.
I will post the May thread shortly and will post the link.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!
