Just picked up a couple tri-tips from Safeway, the T-bones were just going to be overkill and the last tri-tips I did were so tender and juicy. Also picked up some pre-made scallop potatoes from the deli and I am ready to whip up a meal without having to deal with the kitchen til later.

I posted this in another thread yesterday..still shocked:
The current price of a 24 case 355 ml cans x Pepsi (pepsi products) in my area + $0.08 recycling deposit per can = $1.92 + taxes = $22.90 INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll get the old man to put on his BBQ-ing hat,
It doesn't get any easier than that,
Steaks on the barbie to start the season,
A salad for me & a baked potato for him,
I love bbq's - they make me grin,
Probably will enjoy - I'm anticipating,
How many of you can do a little relating,
I need to figure out if dessert will be in cards,
Almost time to spend more time in our lovely backyards,
Enjoy your dinner & whatever it may be,
& soon there will be blossoms on our apple tree.

We went to Humpty's for supper. Kids eat free on Friday nights. The food was pretty good, we hadn't eaten out since last Friday when we ordered pizza. LO got ham and pineapple pizza, apple sauce, and milk. Dh and I each ordered a different burger with a side.

^ My son is obsessed with Humpty's! I think he'd eat there weekly if he could. I haven't been there, though.

Tonight, I had a late lunch, so I made French toast for my husband. He ate 15 pieces.

So when I was hungry later, I made two eggs over easy, on toast.
