SEPTEMBER PERSONAL GOALS!!!!

I have set a few goals for myself for this month
1. get the boys back in the kitchen (baking & making 1 main course per week - then alternate)
2. paint all the bedroom & bathroom doors to freshen them up
3. make use of the kitchen oven - make a dessert or something to take advantage of the energy use
4. make meal plan for the next week (sit down with the guys so that guys have the ingredients for their recipes)
5. canning tomatoes, pears, apples for later use

Thanks for starting the new thread. It's hard to believe that the twins are a month old already. Friday, September 4, is my wedding anniversary and LO turns 3yrs old on September 9. Where does the time go?

Well Nancy the Korean beef was a hit with my guys. I Can't really give the recipe an accurate review because I made some changes. I wanted some veggies in it so after I added the sauce I wilted 2 bags of bean sprouts and about four cups of shredded cabbage and two shredded carrots.I doubled the sauce because of all the veggies. I made brown basmati rice and served it over the rice. I thought it was an ok quick dinner but the guys loved it.Will make again because of this and it is so easy to make!!

Hi folks!
Getting some good gluten-free tips from my DH's daughter. Lots of baby-snuggles too.
Happy September everyone! Oiy! I picked up a beautiful tiny red maple leaf from the sidewalk and slipped it into a book to save it. If you can't beat it, join it, I guess.

Good Morning Everyone,
Where has the time gone, my mind is not accepting it, I tried to date everything I did yesterday August 15th.
Things have been super insane around here lately just getting ready for this weekend. Still quite a few things to get done before tomorrow's delivery, Mom has a to do list for today will see when I get home tonight where she is at. We have to go out tonight which was totally not planned, someone is selling on one of the local sites the bedside tables to go with my bed and dressers, they are selling 2 for $85 vs $70/each. One is damaged so Mom is going to go with me and take a look to see if we can fix it. I was only going to get one for my room but at that price I might as well get both.
Little disappointed I see there is now a better sale on where I go all our furniture coming and they will not even though my order has not been delivered credit back the difference. Oh well sucks as would have loved the savings but this works out better as I was able to get it before the long weekend and hopefully we can get a good chunk done this weekend, still would have loved to save the $$$.
Last night we went to grocery shopping which was horrible they had stock on nothing spent under $20 and we have not shopped in 2 weeks, I should have easily spent $50 but I gave up and left. But before we went shopping we went out to dinner, I order a chicken dish which was raw in the middle (it looks like they did not pound the chicken breast evenly and the center did not cook). I was shocked they comped our whole meal last night both mine and my Mom's dinners plus dessert and they also gave us a $50 giftcard to use next time we go in. I am happy they took prompt action but I just expected them to remove my dinner from the bill. It was a nice surprise and luckily I noticed the raw chicken before I ate it but did not want another, after that I was done.
Well better get this day started my inbox is already filling up. Have a great day everyone.

Happy September. @Angela273 I am tagging you in another thread where there is a SC expecting twins this month. Perhaps you have already connected? If not, perhaps you would like to?

If you asked the store manager, you can try posting it on Facebook. Usually, Facebook is managed by head office and store managers are too preoccupied with the sales figures than repeat business.
LO is having meltdowns too now. My mom wants me to take her to a behavioural specialist as none of her four children had temper tantrums. Ha ha! Oh, what time does to your memory.LO has about three or four a day in the little time I have with her. The last one was because she wanted me to walk beside her and hold her hand, while pushing her in the stroller.

Last night we had dinner with our friends who were camping in Canmore so we had lots of fun. Some of the gang who went to the wedding in India in Dec so lots of fond memories. It was chilly ,even around the campfire, but we enjoyed the chilly fall night and were home around 10:30 with school starting later this first day and only going for two hours for the high schoolers. Happy fall and fall routine everyone.

Going to head home on my lunch and make something to eat since I didn't pack a lunch. And watch Till Debt do us part
Then hang up the laundry to dry that I washed last evening. I am on a mission to not use the dryer this month. Today is September 1st so good day to start.

And a reminder to everyone to change your furnace filter if you haven't done so lately. I just purchased the last 2 packs of 3 at my Home Depot so I am stocked up for awhile and the price of one on its own was more then 1/2 the cost of the 3pk!!! Scared they are going to jack the price up so going to take a look next weekend hoping they get more in.
