Spaghettini with tomato/cheese/spinach sauce with Parmesan. Some tea. Tiring day, and I don't feel like anything too elaborate.

I'm thinking about making fin 'n hattie with drop biscuits for supper tonight. I just finished baking a double batch of molasses oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I have bananas thawing for a double batch of banana muffins. We'll see what I feel up for by late this afternoon.

..asparagus is on sale at our ONE grocery store for $2.99/lb this week, its the first time in 2 years I've seen it on sale here..lol..when we can get it, its usually $8-9 for a tiny bunch of pale, limp asparagus, ick!...so I bought approx 4 lbs fresh all the way from Mexico , I have a bunch in the fridge and I immediately blanched the rest and put in the freezer to use during the summer. Its so good on the bbq all charred and crispy!! I was planning on having a BBQ this evening but I think its just going to be too windy so plan B but it will definitely include charred, crispy asparagus done under the broiler, tossed with olive oil, salt & pepper

Tonight's supper will be pan fried perogies with Maple Leaf bacon, fried yellow onion, boiled veggies, sour cream and a glass of milk. Still have cookies and banana muffins that I baked yesterday.
