What's For Dinner?

Tonight we will have:

Sweet n Sour Pork (pork already cut up in chunks in container in fridge, just have to dump and cook!)
Rice
Veggie of some sort.

Love having a plan and the messy part done already. Will be a quick dinner to make with hardly any dishes to clean up.

oh my! Used up the last GC from Xmas last night at The Keg. My steak done medium was perfect! DH made his usual joke about keeping my fork stuck firmly into it as I ate or it would crawl off the plate ( groan! he always orders his WELL done, ugh!! )
Such a lovely meal.

Dh has supper and a meeting tonight, so I think the kids and I are going to eat leftovers.

I plan on making fried rice tomorrow night with roast ham, eggs, and veggies in it.

BBQ steak (medium ) and pasta salad. After we had some apple crisp.

I used to be a well done gal too until I started watching cooking shows, then it slowly changed to medium. I was reading an article on yahoo recently about the freshness of the steak restaurants will cook for you if you want well done. Don't know how true it is as yahoo isn't the best source for news.

For the longest time, I was a well done girl. Then I moved on to medium well, then medium.
Now I'm a huge fan of medium rare (no, not bloody) - steak is so much more flavourful.

Tonight, BBQing pork burgers, will have on fresh bakery buns. I think I'll have more bun than burger!

snagged a SCOP this a.m. when buying DH a container of Ziggy's red skin potato salad from NF ( hooray for free! ) so he had that with some BBQ Juicy Jumbos ( beef dogs that were just $3.00 today ). Did not feel like making a whole big ta do for dinner so.......

Used the leftover steak to make some fajitas.

Just got home after a long day, so I ordered a pizza.
