Loocie, is that you in the picture too? Beautiful picture! I hope your treatment goes well!
Lynn, thank-you for your kind thoughts! We're happy to have some news and a PLAN!
He will have to have his pic-line put in again but that won't happen before he has his first chemo next week.
I have jumped in and have been "organizing" our front room so that SIL and BIL have a place to actually SLEEP tomorrow night. We will be taking care of "The White Tornado" - their mini-mini- Bichon-Poodle called Peaches for 5 days while they go on their honeymoon. Sadie and Peaches spend most of their time together chasing and teasing each other. Peaches isn't used to walking on a leash but we have no yard that she can just run out in. So this should be fun! I will have to be careful to take them out regularly - which I do anyway.
This will be like, "What is black and white and runs all over????" Sadie and Peaches, of course.
We have potentially sold our old Garmin GPS- on Kijiji - the fellow is coming in 1/2 an hour to pick it up. There are 3 others who are interested in it if not.
So, I will get to work on supper in a few minutes - after "Bondi Vet" - one of my new favourite shows.

Bought a 10" tablet on eBay for $9.99 lol. With my luck it will just be an empty box or just a picture of the item lol. Other sellers have same tablet for $185cad. Manufactures own website lists it at $280us. The listing says brand new in sealed box with free shipping. Hey for $10 it was worth the risk, I'll just wait and see now. They have sold almost 70 so far.

Anyway, that didn't last long. But eBay cancelled the transaction and took the listing down and closed the sellers account. They think someone hacked the sellers account and listed these tablets. Oh well it's all good because my PayPal payment was also cancelled.

Oh I know nat. That's why I wasn't too worried because it was only $13. Even if I wasn't sent anything with PayPal you open a dispute and they're usually pretty good at crediting your account.

Good morning folks!
Oh Dan- I just love house hunting- you are lucky that the house you like is still available in this market! We had to move fast like the wind with our offer!
Thank-you, Nat!
Well, the day is calling! See ya later, alligators!

We went to see this place two weekends ago (I think when I last mentioned house hunting), and it had actually been reduced in price the day before we saw it, not even updated on the online listing yet.
Before that, it had been listed for almost two months, with few showings (as our agent informed us)
We also know the sellers have already bought another place...
All things working out in our favour right now.
Lots to think about right now, and still more to review.
We shall see how things go.DANGER

Hmmm....now selling at a reduced price, @danger_dan?
Was it priced too high to begin with?
Is there something wrong with it?
Remember, Sweetheart, ask a lot of questions...lots and lots! Agents, even if they're working for you, do not have to reveal anything negative about the houses they're trying to sell. Best of luck to you two!!
Hello, everyone!!
Meh, day...DH went golfing, I have chili on the stove for dinner, homemade french bread, so all's well around here. DD is still sick with the flu but at work, poor muffin. What a dull looking day, though.
Just popping in to wish everyone a great day!!

Good morning!!
DD called last night: a "teenager" bear was sitting comfortably on their front lawn munching on their garbage, apparently for quite a while. She called me to chat while this was all happening, and then the bear went right up to their dining-room window and she was nose-to-nose with it and it put a paw on the glass of the window!! Naturally this Mom warned about bears breaking glass (they do, don't they?), but they didn't seem at all concerned. What an experience for our Grandson!!
It eventually wobbled off.....
A gloomy but 12, heading up to 16, so at least it's not freezing cold. Yet.
I hope everyone has a terrific weekend!!

Good Morning Kids, How are we all doing.. Doing pretty good here, pain is pretty high today, but so is the dampness... Yesterday went out for a drive, came home and had a nap, and got up in time to watch my Sens beat the Habs.. Today going to rest a bit I think, take it easy... Hope YOU all have a GREAT day!

Good morning folks!
2 dogs walked
2 dogs chased around
2 dogs established their space
And I can catch another few zzzzzz's (Maybe )
Lynn, that's incredible about the bear!
Do you call anyone to let them know that there is a bear in the neighborhood, or is that "old hat" in Sudbury?
WE have an orange CAT that roams the neighborhood, and a couple of chipmunks.
Charger, I hope your pain settles down!
This is that wonderful time of the year for avid sports fans when you can watch baseball, football, AND hockey! Heaven for some!
Threatening to be a bit of a soggy day- but warm, so far.
Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone !
