It's beginning to look a lot like.....oh wait, that won't work...there's no snow out...
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...that's better!
No snow out, +6 degrees here, rain on and off, not feeling or looking much like a Canadian winter just yet.
Good morning December!

Good morning all. @Natalka - sorry about your DS, I hope he feels better soon.
If you live in the GTA, just an FYI - gas is going up 5c a litre tonight, so you should fill up today.
Have a great day; I'm off & running.

Good morning!
Well, if something's got to fall out of the sky, it had better be rain, and yay, it IS!!! Two more rainy days and I love it!!!
Off to physio this morning to see what kind of damage I did yesterday trying to do decorating stuff without my walker or cane; I hope I didn't set myself back too far.
@Natalka , sorry for Milan's ouchie! I absolutely do believe that those fellas have their fair share of such incidents with the equipment they have to handle...glad it's not broken, hope he's better soon.
Everyone...have an absolutely wonderful day!!

Good thing I'm off today because it's the one day I don't have a bus pass. I get paid fri and will buy one. Well actually I told my boss today is the 1 day I don't have a bus pass and need the day off and he laughed and said no problem.

So I am back in the Chemo chair tomorrrow. Feeling pretty good today & I even did a little bit of cooking. I do wish my energy would hold out, I need to rest when I get that hittin`the wall feeling.
My bestest wishes to all of you.

Nice to hear you had some gumption to do some cooking, hoping everyone appreciates your efforts Loocie. If resting in between tasks seems to be the only way to accomplish the things you enjoy doing, then so be it. Best of luck tomorrow during your treatment!!

Well, we sure are in the exact same boat, aren't we?? Pain, though, isn't my problem except for my hamstrings when I want to do some of the exercises, which, for the next 2 weeks home, I'm not allowed to do. I still like my walker and am a bit wobbly with my cane, but I keep practicing.
Sweetie, this is my 4th surgery on this same knee, totally cut to the bone each time, and believe me, there's no rushing the healing. Boy, what I wouldn't give to just be able to stand up and walk like a normal "homo sapien" as our DD described it once before when I did it. Yep, it's a bi*ch for sure, but slow and easy, don't re-injure what's healed or you'll be in this same place by the time you're heading out the door for Cuba. Re-lax....every day you're getting stronger, remember that. Things change quicker than we think...like when the other day I could actually lift my foot off the bed! You're healing....and that's so tiring, too. So sorry you're going through all this.
@SillyLoocie, all the best as you go through another round of chemotherapy. I guess the secret to all of this: you, Charger, and myself, is to pace ourselves. Do what we can, the heck with the rest and yep, rest. I'm so happy you did some cooking!!
@cabmonk, love that set! The style looks very "provencal"...love it!
Hope you're all having a pretty darn good day!!!

cabbie, it's a very nice set!
RNC - hoping things get better for you!
Loocie - Glad you were able to make some things; all the best to you with the next round of treatment!
avon - hope that your husband tolerated treatment well today.
Lynn - what's the timeline for you being 'all better'?
Just chatted with our son - he said his hand feels better, even though some more bruising showed up today. Work is a pain, of course, but he said the guys are giving him work he can deal with, no lifting for example.
He did mourn the loss of not being able to play video games since that thumb is hurt....
Hope you all have a nice evening!
