@cabmonk , that med sounds really interesting; it's great to find something that brings any sort of relief, hope it helps you a lot, Hon.

It's sunny here at camp, but threatening a t'storm later. I hope we can get through my Hubby's 71st b'day before the sky opens up!

@GoodBoy, @walkonby, I willl extend your b'day wishes to him!

Walks, having met you, I'm sure he woukdn't be surprised at your mentioning that little fact to him...hahaha. His real b'day is actually tomorrow.....Please don't say that's #34's b'day, too!!

What a gorgeous day here! Can't wait to go to the kids' for the bbq.! We visited with them earlier, but then DH wanted to take his kayak for a spin, and I hid in here with the air conditioning. Dumb, I know...I waited so long for summer and now I'm hiding from it!

    Enjoy your weekend, everyone!!!

Any one know roughly how much a load of laundry is at a laundromat or how long it takes?

I have a lot of loads I need to wash and I'd rather not do them at home since there are so many.

Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

The last time I went to a laundry mat, it was $1.50 to wash a load, and it took about the same time as it did @ home. I can't remember the cost of the dryer. Mind you that was about 2 years ago.

@Lynn49 - that cake looks complicated. I like to bake, but I wouldn't even attempt that one. I hope yours held together. A very Happy Birthday to your DH tomorrow, and I hope the rain holds off while you're celebrating.

Here, they're calling for rain after 2 p.m., thunderstorms too. I sure hope it does wait just a little longer, until my garage sale is over, and we've packed up. Today was wonderful. It sure would be nice if tomorrow was the same.

@GoodBoy - what a perfect day for painting. I hope it looks fantastic when it's done.

I'm heading to bed early tonight. I have a very early start in the morning, and a busy day. I sure hope I can sleep. I think I'll take a sleeping pill to make sure.

I hope you all have a wonderful evening, and a great w/end .
    Buy for now.

@Darth Penguin I needed to use a laundromat last fall when my dryer died and while I found it was not cheap when you consider that one washer does 2 or 3 loads it was worth it. And the time saving was amazing.

Thanks...It's not the drying which is a problem...

I just need to wash the loads..I thought If I did it where it cost me..I'd be more efficient and get back on track..

The dryers can hold 4 loads so you may want to wash and dry because you would be back on track quick. I actually suspect the laundry spawns when I am not looking.
