Oh Dear! I don't like to see people putting others down! Good Boy- we tease one another but please be more respectful of things that are personal to people. Teasing can turn to bullying really fast if both sides aren't laughing.

Natalka-I am happy that the wheels are turning wrt getting you into a more accessible living space and also a more supportive walker.

Cath- great to see you around! You always make the best of putting coupons and sales together!

Flemeth-a road trip sounds great for your daughters to unwind after all the stresses of exams. Maybe mom a can hide in the trunk....

I have been reading about the propensity for some deafness to be prevalent in some dog breeds that are either white or Pibald (like freckles-eg dalmations.) Tootie is mostly white but she has "freckled" skin. The theory is that the gene for pigmentation has something to do with the development of the inner ear. I don't really understand the "why" but there is a rescue site for deaf dogs and they are almost all white or at least have a white head. I did not know that.
(Add it to the list of things I don't know.)
But I do know that it's time for sleep so good night all sleep well.

Is that right, Nat? It seemed weird that pigmentation could be connected with hearing, but, I guess all creatures grow from just 2 little cells, every cell has a possibility to contain information about any body part.

It's 18 here, wasn't predicted to get that warm. However, I had to put the heat up in the house, I was cold...
Next two days will be back to single digits, though.
