Hi everyone, if you haven’t done so, please download the app or go directly to the website to provide information to the Canadian government. This will help them better understand the spread of this virus (or not). Please pass along to friends and colleagues.
https://ca.thrive.health/I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

we're going to be getting some sobering information today.
it's important to remember that projections are not predictions. models can change as more information comes in and as influencing factors change. for example, if social distancing becomes more severely adhered to the model can shift downwards and become less dire.
in any case, hang onto your hats but don't panic.

Finally I got something to actually post! This after many attempts on my part!!
Yesterday I was on here reading and responding. Then when I went to post it all disappeared because I did something wrong on my phone.
Shout out too all for their contributions, some serious and some humorous! Keep on sharing and know that you're not alone during these times. That's what we're all here for!
Time for walking as my body is seizing up. Be a blessing to someone today!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

I am very tired and I only went to 2 stores this a.m. ( although first store did have a few things I wanted, some of their prices were NUTS! ) Glad I drove over a few blocks to finish it off. Redeemed a total of $200.00 in AM between the 2 stores.
We're good now for at least 2 weeks.
ty both @electric_viking and @heartgirl99 for the info!!

Happy Noon!
TGIF to those of you who are still worker bees!
Nurse came by this morn. Although my big blister isn't weepy any longer, she doesn't want me to go to just a regular bandage yet, so I am stuck with the Cobands for a while yet. What I dislike most is that it will now be changed only once a week, so that is a bummer.
All else is mostly the same - good ole aches and pains.
I did not sleep at all during the night, so I am going to try have a nap now.
Take care everyone!

in a the coming weeks, emergency prepackaged 7-day/1 person food bundles will be distributed by local food banks. this means that if there are two adults in the home, 2 packages will be delivered. our local food bank currently delivers a 3 day supply of food to a household with the quantity dependent on the number of people in the home. when these larger 7-day packages come in food banks will need a lot more volunteers to load vehicles and to deliver. on top of that, the list of clients in need is growing daily.
right now, most food banks are experiencing a shortage of volunteers since many older and/or vulnerable can no longer volunteer and expose themselves during this crisis.
please, if you can, contact your local food bank and add your name to the list of volunteers.
