Did RCSS have to dig to the bottom of the barrel to find those employees who are packing up our grocery orders?!!!
NO, Sweetie...you do NOT substitute Annie's GLUTEN FREE boxed pasta with Annie's REGULAR pasta!!
Honestly they must pick the stupidest people to do that job!!!

We accomplished quite a bit today, gathered things together for a few days at camp.
We're heading to our DD's house to watch the movie "Cats" which she said we have to watch to believe how awful it is...hahaha!
Have a lovely evening, everyone!

I ventured out today to get some groceries and a Birthday card/gift and go to Michael's to get some custom framing done. Wow- food and framing are expensive!
Since I am on the west side of our building and the fairly brisk breeze was coming from the East, there is a very warm period between about 4 until sunset when it is lovely on the balcony.
There were a lot of very milky white bodies out sunning themselves this afternoon. I hope they had sunscreen on.
Having the balcony door open is great to get the stuffiness out of here.
I do like the open concept but it means that cooking smells permeate. In my old apartment, there was a wall between
the kitchen and the living room.
There are now 4 residents and 1 staff member who have tested positive next door and people here are nervous.
My BrotherR tells me that everyone at his retirement home is going to be tested on Friday. BrotherB negotiated so that BrotherR can go out on their front patio(which is much more pleasant than their back patio) because they know he understands the social distancing concept and will not venture off the property.
Well, going to do some knitting and watch the world float by.
See ya later!

@flemeth while you cleaning away I'm busy losing half by grey matter.....
Placed a casserole dish in my toaster oven to bake and heat through some slices of store bought polenta that I layered/smothered in herbed diced tomatoes, grated Parm and Mozz cheese.
Not sure if anyone else has a Green Acres kind of situation but I needed the microwave for 1 min. and the casserole had already cooked 10 of the 30 minutes I had set on it, so I just unplugged the running oven so as not to trigger the breaker.
Twenty minutes later " ding! " . I check and it seems not warmed through enough, so I crank another 30 min. on it.
Then....Ding! This time the entire oven and the casserole are stone cold?
Yeah, they work better when they are PLUGGED in! ha ha
Hoping everybody is still being obedient about the socaila distancing, etc.
I heard a depressing news report that Canada is NOT prepared for another big surge in the spread! ( not enough PPE I think they said? )

This is another one of those days that I am wondering where all the time has passed! More to the point, what do I have to show for it?... I thought my cat was inviting to nap but he got his requisite pats then left!!! (so I can't use him as an excuse) that said time for a cat nap anyways, or a caffeine fix.
At least I managed to write and post, unlike yesterday when I wrote and then lost my post so I gave up!
Everyone do have an enjoyable day, stay safe and well. Be the blessing that someone needs!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Hello...not hiding, but a bust morning of packing groceries, summer clothes, then driving to the island...omgosh, it's beautiful here! No overnighters, lol! Were observing social distancing as much as it's possible, but....there are people here who "feel fine", so no problem, right?
Our DD us wearing a t-shirt "Expert at social distancing", lol. Don't mess with her!
It's quiet, which we all love....we'll head over to the kids' deck after dinner....GS wants to teach us RISK. As long as I don't have to think...I'm in.
@Skippy , afternoon naps are mandatory at a certain age.....just do it!
@walkonby , Honey....sigh....I don't think there's a cure. Just stay cute.
Toodles for now, have a lovely evening, everyone.
