Oh, @GoJays , you're outdoing yourself lately!
First that Easter Island responder, and now mantyhose?! Omgosh.....thank you for our morning chuckles!
DD and I have mani-pedi appointments today, and that's about it for my to-do list. Yay!
A sunny day here, hope it's the same for everyone.
Enjoy your day!Last edited by Lynn49; Wed, Jul 7th, 2021 at 09:04 AM.

Oh geez. Mantyhose! Must have manbun to go with?
Good morning, all!
So glad these days are moderate temps - yesterday was somewhat muggy though. Had a bit of rain yesterday, it's predicted daily but more just doesn't come, and we badly need it here. Thursday sounds the most hopeful.
It's awful to hear the stories, and there are many - here, a lentils farmer said his crop just fried in the crazy hot weather we had (SK exports tons of it to India especially, as well as other pulse crops); farmers hay crop being crap so they look far and wide for hay - then either they can't find it, or it's way too pricey. I remember @wolfwoman explaining she had that exact problem in AB a few years ago, problems getting hay for horses.
Trudeau was in SK yesterday, gee I am pretty sure we are having an election this fall. We have no L seats, but that is the only reason he would ever come here.
Milan, our son, came by after work - hadn't seen him in over a week, so that was nice (he hadn't come because of the darned heat, we sweated it out separately).
He came bearing goodies for me - my favourite Nestea iced green tea, and a bear claw, which I have never had - I will try it later.
We ordered supper in - nothing remotely healthy but gosh it was good. A new pizza place had a combo special of an XL pizza, two lasagne, boneless ribs, and garlic toast. Best darned lasagne I have ever, ever had! We pretty much only ate half of everything, and we were all full. Sent him home with most of it, keeping just a piece of pizza and a bit of lasagne for my lunch today.
Nothing special going on today...
Hope your day goes well!

Good afternoon to everyone!
Agreed @Lynn49 that our @GoJays hits it out of the park every day with those memes. I start shaking when logging in sometimes anticipating what she'll post...lol @Natalka I saw this in my news feed and of course knew you'd have to check it out!!
So odd but a creative billboard.
We got our new sod laid at the end of our lawn by the Hydro crew. Seems like so long ago that the never ending noise and work was going on around here, most everyone had their lawns partially tore up, some had massive pits dug in their lawns to bury boxes??
Great timing though with a massive downpour that happened the night TB was supposed to win the cup in Montreal. Then this morning between 3 and 5 a.m. more rain!
Saves us wasting our water to keep that patch of grass alive.
Quiet day here....need nothing at the stores so PJ day again! ( I kid...every day is PJ day )Last edited by walkonby; Wed, Jul 7th, 2021 at 12:06 PM.

Our SIL's aunt and uncle were "in the box" of the team at the game since their son is one of the managers for the team...I'm sure he, our Daughter and family are all looking for him on the ice.
I was cheering for Montreal, lol....I just wanted the cup in CANADA but at least hockey is over for a while we never watch it during the winter.

Well my friends I don't know where all the time goes! I'm starting to think that with this hot weather we've been having lately one day just morphs into another.Even with an a/c unit I still don't function well when it is humid and so just the minimum gets done. That said, I really feel for those dealing with the heat especially in B.C..It's a shame that so many elderly died and many had no outside interaction with others which may have made a difference.
DW and I both got our 2nd shots, only side affects some tiredness. It seems everyone has a different reaction.
Still continuing with my walks so I don't seize up like some I know.
One day/hour/minute at a time, whatever works best for you in whatever you are up to today.Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.
