A chiropractic appt for me this morning; no high hope's or any hope at all really, to relieve me of my back pain, and in spite of the fact that I don't generally trust them, I'll see where this goes.

@danger_dan , that was so sweet, that little elf waiting for his Santa to arrive. I hope Santa didn't see some of his ... ahem ... antics last year, caught on camera and posted; perhaps he'll be better behaved this year.

@walkonby , you're just truly bonkers! Diaper, indeed! The kid's obviously a follower, not a leader, so very much unlike you!

Gloomy but warm out there today, but we don't have to shovel gloom, right?

@danger_dan, the day our GS realized that his elf wasn't quite what it was supposed to be was such an immense relief for our DD and SIL, LOL!! One evening they forgot to move him and of course our GS looked for him every morning as a tot and found him in the same place...they came up with the story that it must be his favourite spot if he picked it again! Hahahaha!!

btw...I always capitalize your name but it always ends up in lower case. Weird.

Good morning!!

Have you seen the new Canadian stamp with Christopher Plummer on it?! It's one of the most beautiful stamps I've ever seen and I need them!! Apparently The Sound of Music wasn't one of his favourites, but realizing it's popularity with people he agreed to include it. Love that his character from The Tempest is featured with the storm in the background! I'm not a to-go celebrity watcher, couldn't even name the Marvel or any actors in any movie out there, lol, but he was a stage actor which makes him so special. Wish we had the opportunity to see him on stage.

Dull, gloomy day, but no snow, so all's well.

oh Wow! My DH is gonna be annoyed at this stamp because there are a handful of actors he does not like and C. Plummer ( sadly ) is on his list! ha ha ( also Jack Palance ).......I don't even know why anymore?

Just a heads up for any MLB watchers......game 5 tonight between Dodgers and Giants!
I'll be flipping between that and the Leafs game.

Thank heavens the Leafs won their first game, esp at home! The opening ceremony couldn't hold a torch to the one that Las Vegas put on, though, right? But it's Vegas...we shouldn't be surprised. We even watched it on youtube on our big tv, LOL!! Like I said, I'm a sucker for big parades and ceremonies like that...opening of Olympic games, etc. My next bucket list? The Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena. We always planned to go, but now with covid, I'm thinkin' we'll be avoiding the US like the plague it is. Which is sad because my alternate would be the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade...
